Dante Alighieri
For certain he hath seen all perfectness
Who among other ladies hath seen mine:
They that go with her humbly should combine
To thank their God for such peculiar grace.
So perfect is the beauty of her face
That is begets in no wise any sigh
Of envy, but draws round her a clear line
Of love, and blessed faith, and gentleness.
Merely the sight of her makes all things bow:
Not she herself alone is holier
Than all; but hers, through her, are raised above.
From all her acts such lovely graces flow
That truly one may never think of her
Without a passion of exceeding love.

No one even asks what I'm doing these days,
and it's obvious they don't care.
I want to wash my hands of these people;
I come from a family of fist fighters,
and forgiveness is like a cardinal sin.
****, even I'm still bitter about the ****.
Even I still get upset at the thoughts.
My lover wraps her arms around me
and I radiate this ******* into her.
Every time.
Sleeping next to me
is dirtier than sleeping
in any grave.
This dirt farmer can't wash his hands or his mind,
he isn't a fist fighter or a loud talker,
he won't let the easy things slide,
and even six feet into this hole,
this dirt farmer is still digging.

I miss being able
To talk to you
To grow with you
To be with you
To love you

I miss
Knowing you
Being with you
Loving you

Most of all
I miss you

I have lost someone
Someone that I loved
And cared for vary much
My best friend
Is now gone

I have no one
That I can trust
The only one I could trust
Is now ignoring me

She has someone
And
I'm alone
And afraid
Without her

I don't know
What to do anymore
I am in love
With someone
I got too close
And now we are
So far away

I want to be with her
But she does not
I want to help her
But she hides her feelings
I want to love her
But all it would do is hurt her

I'm always thinking
Of you
Thinking of us
Together

I just want
One kiss
One hug

One more
Time to be together

Get her out of this prison of
Pain
And sorrow

Give her happiness
And see the joys in life
Like her friends
And others who care for her

Set her free
And let her
See the flowers grow
And bloom under the sun
Set her free
So that she can bloom with them
Into something more beautiful

Let her
Walk through the
Sand and grass
Barefoot
And feel the heat of the sand
And the tingling of the grass
Between her toes

Leave her be
So she can
No longer feel the pain
So she can be happy
Bloom into something more
And feel nature through her toes

And

Have her feel save
Enough
To
Love
Again

I can't see you hurt
I can't even think about it
My heart literally won't stop
Beating fast
Thinking of what might happen

I am scared
I don't want anything
Bad to happen
All I want is for you to be happy
Even if I'm not

Seeing you happy
Will be all I need
To keep me happy

Quotes

Tommy
I wrote a poem for you,
It's actually one of many,
But this one,
I wrote it on the back of one of those quotes
The ones I kept on my wall?
I don't know if you remember
That half of them fell off,
And I haven't had the time
To put them back up,
I'm leaving soon anyway.
I wasn't paying attention
To the paper it was written on,
I was just looking for anything at that point,
But I turned it over before,
And I realised
The song it's from is not about love,
But there are snippets that could be,
And that have always meant so much to me,
And I know it's a coincidence,
But I find it tragically beautiful
That it landed on
"I will be with him wherever he goes"
Because I don't want to let you go
Not yet,
And that's not romantic,
Since it's not reciprocated.
The quote is from Do You Love an Apple, an incredibly twisted, brilliant Irish folk song, though I always associated it with happiness as it was what my parents would sing to my brother and me when we were younger, as a love song (the first verse could be romantic :P)
