Who would have known you was of a different sort
Paying for some fun I normally wouldn't have bought
Ten sheets to the wind it was then I found your toy
Well how was I to know that you was still a boy
Perfectly sculpted cheeks and lips you could die for
When I woke in the morning some parts still pretty **** raw
What was I thinking then out of my mind
I just wanted some way to really unwind
Now looking out at the sea, regrets, cocktail in hand
But, you know, what happens in Thailand, stays in Thailand

(You only live once)

The things in life we just take for granted,
From medication, the care that is taken,
To a handshake in passing, to those now that are starving
Every carer and nurse, working their fingers to the bone
When all we must do is sit and wait, within the comfort of our nice homes
Get your shopping dropped off by the delivery man whilst waiting
And put your feet up, relax, stop moaning and creating
Stay safe, wait inside, as we are in the hands of the worlds ****** best,
Yes, that's right, they've got our backs,
God bless our NHS

Little Things

Things fade,
be it,
colours,
in words,
or in love

What magic we once had,
what now seems a fad,
surprises,
a nightly text,
all gone in a time now lost

I know you still care,
but we just lost our flare,
coaxed,
into a slumber,
I should delete your number,
And start a new somewhere else

Loves Lost

Streets now empty,
Not a soul to be seen
It's like I've woken up in a B-movie,
Or a very eerie dream

Best to stand apart now,
We've been given a 2 metre stance
I would love to give you all a hug
But I'd better not take that chance

Let's hope that it's all over,
Please let that time be soon
And hope this can't happen again,
Be it once in a blue moon

Locked in the same surroundings,
This will surely cause some rows
But look on the bright side of this mess,
We'll get through this apocalypse now

We kissed in the playground,
I remember your blonde hair
Being boldly eight and we were just the same,
Now I don't remember your name

Asking old friends of a time since lost,
Memories I'd love to have back now, at any cost
Innocence was a sanctity now craved by most elders,
Of a time long gone, where nobody told us

I pushed you in the park, to the floor then on the swing
We laughed about our larks, not caring of such things
Our parents said we had to be home by six,
Oh to have those days back, that stumbled into teenage kicks

For we don't see what we had in the palm of our hands,
A light smack on the *** for filling her wellies with sand
Such purity of mind that is now long in the tooth
To have those days back, yes,
Memories of Youth

Drinking coffee underwater,
It don't taste like it ought ta

Now running low on salt and pepper,
Not allowed out until someone lets her

Waiting for the lawman to fire that starting gun,
Locked inside to make our own fun

In 9 months we really could have a baby boom,
Locked together for 12 weeks, stuck in the same room

Nothing on the telly that can resemble a decent sport,
The kids at home now all being self taught

Lets get over this blip and laugh it off in due time,
As most of us will live, with just the unfortunate that die

People in the aisles all fighting over soap and bog rolls,
Who ever thought a dump would take its toll

But come on people, it's not hard to stay inside,
Batten down the hatches on a scale called nationwide

We'll all have stories to tell on how we survived,
Now let's all just get our heads down and stay alive!

Feel the coil slightly tighten,
as crimes you committed
are tales that truly frighten

Stood above the pit they call the trapdoor,
you sweat, you clench, you smell their stench
as you await your disappearance through this manmade floor

No decoration can hide your bowels now from stirring,
as you killed, you maimed, as blood did spill
you wretched man, **** Turpin

Now tales are told of your dare and wit,
as these were all **** lies
hanging now dead from this wooden kit

The hanging square for folk like you, once in the city of York,
a thousand gathered to watch you hang
well that was of such talk

But now you live on in tales of woes and whys,
for your known the world over,
from Dundee down to Dover
alas,

A Legend Never Dies
