The bus
John Acosta Feb 2015
The same old bus ride you take to school everyday,
7:15 in the morning barely beginning to see the light of day,
From congested to light the bus leaks people and gains more,
Everyone ready to see what the day has in store,
Let's hope the day goes by quickly so I can go home already to sleep,
When we all know at the end of the day I'll be out in the streets,
Once again with my friends as usual running a muck,
Never mind the neighbors you know we never give a...... ,
This is my stop.
My bus ride to school

If you people feel the way I do,
You would know exactly what everyone's been through,
It's about time we make a change for the better,
Don't be mean say your glad to have met her,
Time to say how you really feel,
Say this is a dream and this isn't real,
My worst nightmares have come true,
If I wake up in the middle of the night it's because of you,
You make my head spin and hurt,
The ****** thing is, is that it can always get worse,
It really hurts but it's time to refrain, it's not the drugs that causes the pain,
Inhale your problems to exhale your solutions,
The appitamy of your resolutions,
Over and over things try to be fixed,
You want to leave but literally everything will be missed,
If only you listened to my heart like I do,
How long should I scream "LOVE ME" until you actually do,
Straight jackets and white rooms of love, call me crazy,
But I'll **** for you ern though your killing me.
The poem wasn't intented for my girlfriend, just random thoughts from insomnia

If only you were up
John Acosta Feb 2015
Engage in feelings you haven't felt in a while, how long has it been since we've both smiled?, it's been forever but we're still beginning, years to come and we will still be sinning, grab my hand to pull me up when I am down, whisper in my ear again that you will always be around, I hear you sleep as I stare into my black ceiling, if only you were up so I could tell you how I am feeling.
