I am not the best person, I am not the worst
Actions do speak louder than words, Through mistakes I have made, I sure have learned, Realize what you have before it is burned.
There's this place called earth I could visit someday,
but I'm stuck in a daydream and I like it that way.

Maybe I'm afraid of a harsh, fatal fall
But when I get off this cloud, I'll visit you all

There's a place on a cloud where I live every day
Please, oh please, don't take it away.

You are beating onto me like a wave
and sand shakes from my coast with each hit:
one day a man dived into me, now
he is a photograph honey-dewed with age.

I loved his language. It twirled as a song
forms dynamics, rhythm up high to a ceiling
a flood gathering from the floor –

I wanted him to make me buoyant like that
but he just spit in my mouth and made me
swallow, like I could swig a tongue
or gather hope from salty strings of saliva.
Did he know I felt the ocean crashing again?

It must have been a lucky guess unless
girls can appear as aquamarine as it,
starfish and seashells, their pale pinks desire
something brighter than Miami’s going air.

But I did not, only more than a portrait
that can be stolen away by high tide and sea –
how rough water gets, striking you and me.
I can't stop thinking about
how good it felt when you had your hands on my face,
your thumbs gently caressing my cheeks
Elation streamed through my veins
and instantly I wanted to see you again.

It's funny that I always saw you around
but never had the chance
to catch your attention,
until fate stepped in and opened a door
Or maybe a tiny window.

I wonder if I'll see you again,
if this universe is as serendipitous
and magical and wonderful
as I wish it to be;
Maybe you're my destiny.

Or maybe I'll never know.

I wish
I pray
I could spend sweet moments
like this
with you
sitting over warm cups of black coffee
with sugar
or cream
or however you wanted it
early morning
late night
anytime would be alright
with you
right here
all the cares might disappear
your eyes
and lips
**** slow contemplate burning cherry tips
our fixation
not caffeination
brings me the kind of buzz I want now
to kiss
to hold
someone to share and savor the cold
on those
silent days
everything but us could fade away
all over
these things
tell me what your heart springs
It's love
I'd show
cuddle, huddle, breathe, slow
don't need
any thing
smokes, coffee, the silence they bring
no words
just connection
sit silent sweet in reflection
stoges, coffee
now or never
perfect seconds we'd be together.
A free bird leaps on the back
Of the wind and floats downstream
Till the current ends and dips his wing
In the orange suns rays
And dares to claim the sky.

But a BIRD that stalks down his narrow cage
Can seldom see through his bars of rage
His wings are clipped and his feet are tied
So he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings with a fearful trill
Of things unknown but longed for still
And his tune is heard on the distant hill for
The caged bird sings of freedom.

The free bird thinks of another breeze
And the trade winds soft through
The sighing trees
And the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright
Lawn and he names the sky his own.

But a caged BIRD stands on the grave of dreams
His shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
His wings are clipped and his feet are tied
So he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings with
A fearful trill of things unknown
But longed for still and his
Tune is heard on the distant hill
For the caged bird sings of freedom.
My angel...
I don't know what tomorrow holds
Or how the future may unfold
But when the eulogy is told
I want them to say I lived
Don't shed somber tears
Reflect throughout the years
The laughter and love we had together
And how thru thick and thin
I held your hand until the end
Through any storm with u I weathered
It breaks my heart to leave you here
I cant look back for it causes me pain
I'd take my heart out
Give it to you without a doubt
If I thought that would keep u sane
But ill move on and so will u
You'll have joy laughter and love
And when u sleep tonight
Dreaming your sweet dreams
Just know with all my might
I'm smiling down on you from above
They say that God lives very high;
But if you look above the pines
You cannot see our God; and why?

And if you dig down in the mines,
You never see Him in the gold,
Though from Him all that’s glory shines.

God is so good, He wears a fold
Of heaven and earth across His face,
Like secrets kept, for love, untold.

But still I feel that His embrace
Slides down by thrills, through all things made,
Through sight and sound of every place;

As if my tender mother laid
On my shut lids her kisses’ pressure,
Half waking me at night, and said,
“Who kissed you through the dark, dear guesser?”

Do you ever get that feeling?
The one that you can't explain?
Engulfing you, consuming you?
The feeling of happiness
It is what everyone strives for
This is what I want for you
Even if it endangers me
Even if it hurts my feelings
The best is what you deserve
I can't help my feelings towards you
But I can help how I deal
Emotions are tricky business
If you ignore them they grow
If you feed them they will ****
I cannot help how I feel
But happiness is something that....
I would like to share with you.
There's a sadness in the air.
Holding tightly on the throats.
Of all the little children and their
gentle child hope. There's a sadness
in the air, pressing tightly to the
lips. Of all the lonely lovers and the
hated that they miss. There's a sadness
in the air, squeezing lightly on the
hand of the victims and their loved
ones and the things for all they stand.
There's a sadness in the air leaking
doubt into the minds of angels and
their charges, sounds like a terrible
moaning rhyme.
