What or' welming thought is this
that causes one to yearn your kiss
and in those lips the feeling bold
that your sweet hand I pine to hold
there in the twining of our hands
lies days ahead in grains of sands
that worries not as each one slips
as long as I've your heart your hands your lips
so here and now and future years
I'll be your laughter and your tears
I'll be your warmth and comfort still
if you my love but say I will
for nothing more a man could seek
than loving you seven days a week

Who am I

I'm not my name,
I'm not my face,
I'm not my height, weight or race.
I'm not my age,
I'm not my date of birth,
I'm not yet resting, beneath the earth.

I'm the words of a song,
I'm the twinkle of an eye,
I'm hidden beneath the crinkled pages of a book,
if you take the time, you'll find me, just look.
I'm the warmth,
I'm the light,
I'm a silhouette beneath the starry sky
on a dark, cold, winter night.

I'm an infinite dream, drifting through life.
Lately I've been missing you
more than I can hold in my
hands.

Whispering soft words in your ear,
Do you hear me?
Intertwining my fingers through yours,
Do you feel me?
Leaning in for a lipstick stained kiss,
Do you taste me?
Spritzing rose perfume in the crevice of my neck,
Do you smell me?
Scribbling words against the creamy pages,
Do you see me?
Understanding my every thought, word and touch,
**Do you love me?

a departure without reason
last goodbyes never said
car door closes and I'm confounded with thoughts of regret

expectations still high as bittersweet kisses become dry
but nothing is felt, nothing is real

messages are read, 6:02
there's nothing I can do?

unless.
this is the end
this is goodbye

I want to shed my skin and shake the dust.
Not just year of the snake or sin, but also faith and love.
I want to heal from the inside out and not bother with the vain, and lust.
But I regret the trip of craving sick.
Just some appeal that's designed from the pain of us.
We walk around as if we grasp eternity
By the hand, walking step by step with forever
Trapped between our sweaty palms that
Leak light through to brighten our future-
Until we discover eternity slyly slipped away
From our blissful present being
Only to leave us in the dark of
Nothingness.
Breathe in, breathe out
The sorrow, the pain,
The bitterness you hold inside.
Breathe in the joy,
The warmth of day
And the happiness you desire.

Let go of the burdens of your past
And breathe a sigh of relief.
