she smacks me
chomps down on me
with her smile
its casual
I stretch
her tongue pushes me
to the breaking point
but I'm stuck with her
we're fresh
I still taste new
until the flavor wears off
I'm nothing more
than the gum between her teeth

(and that girl has a whole pack to go through)
hate to burst your bubble, babe, but I bounce back fast
picking at flaws
peeling from within
shedding and shredding skin
born with no face
has me out of place
invisible and revisable
never been my own
I've got so many faces
purposefully displacing
your stance
I've a better chance
keeping you off balance
than running the risk
you knowing in advance
I always think

big

A trait that not all my friends

dig

Yet some find me as sweet as a

fig

When I drink I just take a

swig

Believe me, I am not wearing a

wig

My heart can be snapped like a

twig

But most days I am dancing a

jig

Overall life is a pretty good

just for fun, enjoy :)  - ML
The man at the studio doesn't like us

we aren't pretty as the teens
not dazzling like the newly weds
our faces are pretty grim
smiles are once a river
foreheads dry riverbeds
eyes hold no commotion
but he does it for money
and winds up quick.

We walk to the river
where under the grey February sky
she plays with our reflections
babbling and breaking us
into unreadable pieces.

To my friend from Down Under

I was driving down the road and what did I see
But a grasshopper with his pants on fire
With a snake hot on his tail he was moving his feet
That grasshopper with his pants on fire

Hopping high as he could go
A moving fast and ducking low
That grasshopper with his pants on fire
Well the snake was closing in and his race was soon to end
With that grasshopper with his pants on fire

The hopper tightened up his hopping
The snake knew there was no stopping
That grasshopper with his pants on fire

He’s got long legs for a reason
He's the toast of the season
Silly grasshopper with his pants on fire
