When I was a child
I use to hide away at the library
Surrounded by a plethora of words
I stumbled upon a little black book
With a red leather spine
It told me that monsters didn’t exist
And what will keep me awake at night
Are the things inside my head
Tempered words designed to melt hearts
I know it’s difficult, but crucial
Too be grateful not to miss
The anxiety and emptiness
That we all feel
And someday far away
On an ocean breeze
I’ll accept the love that I’ve always had
?
It's sad how
things are most beautiful
when they are ending..

Flowers when they're wilting,
the leaves in autumn,
the sun when its setting..

Your smile when it's fading...

I lived a large
part of my youth
carrying things
that didn’t
belong to me
Indeed I’ve carried
their loads for
too **** long
The load of how
they felt about me
the load of what
they’ve said about me
the load of how
They’ve perceived me
for far too long
These load was never
mine to carry
to begin with
Today I am free
free at last
from criticism
fears , insecurities
and other people’s
opinion
These loads
are no longer mine
to carry
Regardless
how desperate
and foolish
they may seem
Set yourself FREE .... This load ain’t yours to carry!

"I love you" is such an incomplete statement
There is a missing part and that is...
"I love you because..."
The left out part, to me is the most important
Because it validates the preceding part
Do you love me because I'm readily available to be used?
Do you love me for who I am?
The reason you love me conveys to me
the depth of that statement
