Time to rejoice
Jesus reign
How I love
To have the eggs blessed
Eucharist
Amen
Savior
Today
Eternal
Resurrection
for we all fall into love, sin , life
into abominations which our fathers
might scold,

we may fall into darknesses ,
where the only light
is so dim only one star

light might find us, there
so few of us escape, the blind
rage , the animal instinct

among the others caged the same,
we might mistake sameness
for right for reality, and

for the few , who manage to climb
out with skin wedged under
our nails think ,

there is one of a million,
that one who saw the light
of the one star

it's brilliance as not sanctifying
brutality , who , then
saw more than one star

but heaven, saw man's potential
truly, his sins as nature,
and his future

of the world growing
more godlike, more
forgiving

betrayed the rest,
to climb out using them as
ladders,

for our sake, for our
future, nurturing
like a mother and her baby

peace , sanctity
in man, in nature together,
in abandoning

the past, for
what grace does the past
remember?
In the garden sweat flowed as blood. In the garden the son of man was tried. In the garden the final prayers were said. In the garden where Jesus fate was decided. In the garden the fathers will was done. In the garden, mortal failings were conquered and salvations victory won.
Trying
to be a hero
with their
pen and ink.
Winter
She buried my heart in the snow so no else could ever love me
And when she came back to retrieve me
I was so cold
That even her I couldn't love

Rose garden
Once the snow melted
I could tell that winter was over
And all the flowers around me
Sprouted with a boom
But as I laid there frozen in time
In my garden
No roses bloomed

Hell & Heaven
Because the soil was rotten
From my decaying soul
I laid there motionless
In an unmarked grave
My demons led me here
Into her arms on a winters day
But I was to far gone in my wicked ways
As the stalks dripped with tears
Softening the ground
I was swallowed
Hoping I could be saved I prayed

Heaven & Hell
Never seemed to notice miracles
But this one gleamed
I could hear the light penetrate the darkness
My demons screamed
And I could feel myself being yanked from the dirt
Back to earth
Post bail from my maggot infested cell
Set free
Only to the sight of you
Standing over me
Smothering the neck of a shovel, suffocating it
Like the suffocating grip she has on me
And as she started to dig a whole In the snow
I knew she would never let anyone else love me
Today a man told a **** joke.
Everyone laughed.
I stood there and thought about it for a moment
And then I asked,
"What is funny about that?"
The laughter stopped
and they stood there in silence.
The momentary silence of shattered illusions,
There was no answer
Because it wasn't funny
So why laugh?
