Love is patient.
Even the moon
takes time
to be full.
So don't give up, O lover!
on us.

We breathe
the same air
and look
at the same moon.
So look not, O lover!
at our differences.

Glacial water
and water in a ditch
both get sanctified alike,
when they join the Ganga.
So look not, O lover!
at my sins.

Plant a creeper of love
and water it
with your tears.
Love will overspread
your existence.
So dread not, O lover!
your pain.

Distance,
is powerless, O lover!
The echoes of your love
will be heard
throughout
the universe.

The spark in his eyes
A glimpse of starlight
On a full moon night

Cirrus clouds no longer drift
into my sunset sky.
The infinitesimally grey
resonates the echo
of my longings.

I miss the sight
of ice crystal wisps
Streaking in the sky.
Broken hearts,
vanished colours.

The Evening Star waits
behind a curtain of grey haze.
assured that her time will soon come,
sinks without shining
a little late every evening.

The canvas of the sky is blank
and I shan't rest for long.
I ought to rise and paint it back
orange, strawberry and yellow,
against the soothing afterglow.

I wish I could bottle for you
the scent of mountain air

Hug you so that you smell
of the wildflowers pinned in my hair

Glide my fingers over your porcelain skin
like the breeze caressing the leaves

Give you with my lips
a taste of glacial waters and wildberries

Bury your face in the rush of my heartbeat,
to the sound of a pine forest breathing

We are two persons
but the forest will make us one.

He is like sunrise
I am like sunset
can't live with each other,
can't live without each other
So we live on opposite ends
and together make the entire day
Oh, how beautiful it feels,
to be emotionally apart;
yet connected by the heart!
