I hear it again, this storm that I willed
It's too late to fight it, I can feel it all build
What I don't understand is that it's all around me
Where family and loved ones used to surround me
The winds rage on, I feel so alone
The voices cry out, but they all turn to stone
At a loss what to do, I look up above me
Then I finally realize, someone still loves me

Watch a blue bird flutter
Watch it over the gutter
He'll fly to begin
Something we call: Imagine

Watch them sing and dance
Under a soft trance;
We like to call dream,
Under the moon's beam

For all his life he will fly
Believing that he won't die
Unless he neglects his flight
To the eternally bright light

Until one day he descends
To the earth's bitter ends
Giving his wings an inflammation.
Don't worry just keep in mind: This is imagination

Say...

There is one God,
There is none like unto Him,
For He is the Light
of the heavenly Glory,
All-knowing, all wise,
The Eternal
and Most High is He,
To Him do we turn in praise,
To Him do we seek salvation,
He is the beautiful Beloved,
The divine Creator
of the joy of life.

Say...

There is no God
but the One true God,
It is His love that beats richly
in all searching souls,
He is the One and Only,
No partners does He have,
He is the Life immortal,
His is the name sweetly sung
in the early morning dew,
He is the ever loving God,
The most Beneficent
and most Merciful.

Say...*

God is great!
I'm going to light a sky lantern
And send it up in the night sky
And watch as it burns so bright
Floating above, just like a star
It will be my memory of you
A friend I have come to love
A man I respect completely
For now and forever, a brother
A comrade in words and poetry
My bright star in the night sky
You cannot drive your dream

Into another’s mind

One way thinking egos

Meet failure every time

You cannot take a man

And hook him by the nose

He’s on his own volition

That’s how free will goes

It's mutual affection

That must enjoin both hearts

They must commit two wills

As one right from the start

The fairies don’t affect it

Two humans plant the seed

If love is one heart short

It never will succeed.

There's a woman in my arms tonight
She's pretty and full of grace
Ready for me to hold her tight
'Rain kisses on her face
She wants to close the distance here
And live our  fantasy
But just before I take that flight
Your shadow falls on me

I CAN'T GET PAST YESTERDAY AND YOU
NEW LOVES NEVER TAKE THE PLACE OF YOU
A SWEET NEW KISS IS NOT ENOUGH
YOUR LOVING MEMORY SHOWS ITS STUFF
I CAN'T GET PAST YESTERDAY AND YOU

I remember your warm fingertips
Your lips and it was glory
Just one touch and off we'd go
Oh what a warm love story
But I hated those last pages
When you wanted to be free
Cause I'm a prisoner of memories
Oh sweet, sweet misery

Chorus

Bridge:
I'd love to turn it all around
And wake once more with you
But tomorrow's dawn comes breaking
And yesterday shines through

Chorus

You began as a dream
Dreamt by leaders with vision
Evolving to surpass
All of man's wildest ambition...

With adventurous men
Like Shepherd and Glenn
You stubbornly strove
To prove, once again
Beyond any doubt
That bounderies could be broken...

Despite mishap and fire
Alas, you did inspire
A generation to dream...

From Mercury to Apollo
The world, it did follow
Your steady pace
To Tranquility Base...

Via Viking and Voyager
Your efforts did prove
That exploration of the universe
Was well on the move...

To Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune...
You tenaciously endeavored
To, your accomplishments, festoon...

Your progress was sure
As you strove to endure
The incessent chatter
Of the grossly short-sighted
Their nonsense did clatter
Proving they were poorly enlightened...

With untold discoveries
Like non-stick surfaces and airtight seals
Through your numerous breakthroughs
You've shown us how it feels
To live better...

From Columbia to Hubbel
You've saved us great trouble
In our daily lives...

With your Space Station mission
You've shown the same vision
And, continue to lead in gaining cognition
Of our universe...

Lead on, great adventurers
Lead on.

Even while we watch the blushes still clinging to identity
The morning’s already changing her garments
Sensations leap at what they see
Now becoming messengers
From the hidden places
Where they once
Lay dormant

Half-erased passion heeds pride, forgetting pleasure
While one decisive hour
Whisper’s in eternity
As your rose colored glasses measure
What the naked eye
Cannot see

Will forever turn away, lie blushing in the shade
Cling to an identity never known
If half-erased passion heeds that which fades
Wearing rose colored glasses
So the truth cannot be
