skin tight black leather
ropes
duct tape
rambling nonsense and
intensly derogatory terms
life is nothing but a bar
over run by fake plastic beauty
with overpriced wine and overpriced steez
******* kayne west
Quiet on the rooftop
Lay back with me
and watch the stars
watch us
breathe in the cold air
and wish on
galaxies
The lefty
who was forced to write
correctly
wrote her name
backwards
hoping it was
right.
They ran
through Reality's old middle school.
It was night,
and the full moon
made Dream's hair glow.
As they ran away
from the shadow
Reality could not identify,
they sang,
and only Dream would remember the words.
Finally they stopped running,
and Reality
with her dark eyes
looked upon Dream
with her pale eyes
and knew that
she loved her.
So Reality began to cry,
and Dream could only
watch
as Reality
woke
up.

a man with my heart
a boy with my hand
an act of duplicity
resonates within my unkempt
illusiveness
i killed the bird
i trapped its burdens
surfaced replica
of first born freedom
fly south
grab what you can
cradle your needs
with a wounded hand
delivering sin
in balance with persuasion
i can trap your heart
i can convince myself
i am a liar within
i am nothing without.

My sister painted a picture
of the dead fetus she lost,
at the bottom of our toilet.
Every time I flush, I think
about how hard it must have been
for her to.

I met him in that painting
and he already knew me.
He’d heard my voice singing show tunes in the car,
tasted the sugar in my key lime pie,
and now his porcelain tombstone is in the blue bathroom.
He grew in the darkness of her womb
like a sunflower seed buried deep in the ground.
He was cradled in nourishing fluid, wet soil-
until breaking ground into the light
into a world of people, already grown.
But when babies stop growing,
people already grown-
have to grow a little more.

Just One touch Of You

Ignites deep passionate flames

The candle burns again.
Traditional Japanese Senryu 5-7-5
I kissed a woman today
for nine hours.

It felt
like nine seconds.

Who knew a bandage
could feel this
good
being ripped off?

I smiled at the moon
for the first
time
in two months.

Laughter led to sleep.
Lips led to hips.

I read her like a book,
and highlighted
all the best parts
for later.
You're a staircase of kingdoms.
A bacteria, hosted by tolerance.
A protist, without an identity of your own.
A fungus, risky and thriving on what once was.
A plant, needy for growth that flowers ambition
     but wilts your respect.
An animal, a robotic hunting machine that thinks it can think.

The morning after,
I wash him off my skin.
I peel away the clothes
that I picked up off his floor.
I ***** him out
of my stomach
and rinse him out
of my mouth.
When I finally wash
all of the layers of him away -
it's just me

and I feel so small
underneath all of him.
