He stole  my love,
    with ****** after ******,
and with every ragged breath
    he ruined my trust.

Long after those nights,
    I sealed myself away,
having learned a man's words,
    never mean what they say.

So when you came to my life,
    with sweet words so smooth,
it's no wonder my heart,
    couldn't realize the truth.

I never knew I could find you,
when with every thought I would sink,
oblivion lay before me,
I was perched on the brink.

But like a gentle breeze,
    you swayed my direction,
you healed the damage he wrought,
    with a loveless *******.

I feel human for once,
and not just a thing, to be
played with when wanted,
then tossed aside with a swing.

So I thank you, my love,
    for changing my life.
You're my forever and always.

You just need to learn how to wait.
Love is more satisfying if you're ready for it.

On August 18, 1936,
a 38-year-old Spanish poet
named Federico GarcĂa Lorca
was taken from a jail cell
in the city of Granada,
escorted to a courtyard
in the hills outside the city,
and executed for the crime
of loving life and Spain.
Bullets are as lethal to poets
as to anyone else.
Lorca died and fell
and was buried in a rude grave
just where he hit the ground.
His books were burned
in the public square.
What the Fascist beasts
failed to understand
in their deadly ferocity
was that killing a poet is easy,
but killing his poems is impossible.
Franco is long dead,
his Fascist minions scattered,
but Lorca's poems sing
more sweetly than when he breathed
and the Spain he loved
listens with eager ears
and chants them with living joy.

I wanted her in the purest way
I wanted her the way flowers want sunshine
The way trees want to reach the sky
I wanted her in every way possible and impossible
The way birds want to fly
I wanted her the way hands want to be held and lips kissed under thousands of stars
I wanted her every second of the day and doubled when we were sleeping
Every bone in my body wanted her
Every part of heart and deepest parts of my soul
Everything touched and untouched
Everything real and make believe
I wanted her for the simple fact that our love was infinite
Stronger than steel
Deeper than the ocean
Brighter than the sun
More powerful than Gods and magic
I wanted her and she wanted me
I needed her the way people need to breathe
She may be gone forever but every breath I take brings her memory to my lungs and fills my body with her love
Blood and her smile pump through my veins
I want her the way I want to be alive
And when I die
I want her to be the first face I see
I want her the way two people fall in love
Slow and forever
Terrifying and beautiful
I wanted her then and I want her now
But it's too late
And what I want I can't have

If you were broken, and i had the parts to fix you
i would work on you both night and day
but, i'm afraid the parts that i use would mix you
and take the best parts of you away
