I chose to look closer into him than most do

My discernment found worlds in him that most would not

I clung tightly to pages of mystery bound by him-ness

Grasping at tendrils of smoke and mirrors

Looking between our hands for a hidden universe.

And then

Quite suddenly

I saw him:

Just skin and words and memories

I’d simply been looking through

To find reflections of myself

I'm in love with your Anatomy

How our bodies fit together

Our own symmetry

Puzzle Piece.

Why?

I've asked myself

When i look into your eyes

A Puzzle Piece.

Bright baby blue

You look at me, into me

They become brighter, Relaxed

The gaze of the sun beating down on the creek

Another day at the river, rocks, sand, you, and me

I'm taken away, put in a trance, impossible to look away

Your gaze, unbreakable, I'm glued to you.

Between me and you

A negative barrier

Puzzle Piece

Skin on skin

Face on your chest

Buried in your warmth

A steady heartbeat, your rhythm

My lullaby.

Take me

Never let go of me

Don't take away my last puzzle piece

Or i'll be another unsolvable Puzzle.

I seem to want to find you here amongst the shrouded leaves
To hold my hand so we may fly beyond the forest's trees
The freckles on your silky cheeks seem as kisses from the sun
And I find my longing grows stronger to kiss each and every one
The way you smile at me leads me to the brighter days
Pushing all my wrong-doings back to their cryptic graves
For all my heart's eye can see is Sara's lovely hue
In world's where grass is always green and skies are always blue
She sings to me a love song each time our lips dare touch
And purchases a heart given which loves her so very much
In her sapphire eyes lies my solace and excitement all in one
The girl who finds me amongst the leaves who's been kissed by the sun...

You breathe in
I breathe out
there is just one difference

your eyes are glazed
with staining tears

but its no use
I scream and shout

Perfect hands, she has             
     like no other,
love is the sheen,
       her mobile fingers exude,
                               in her hands
                                          I am malleable and ductile,
                                  she crafts me
                                              as a piece of Hellenic art.

Everything I wanted
was placed into my lap
and I watched it unfold before me
gift wrapped in black
and my smile began fading
gradually
like some spoiled little twit
The more it began to reveal itself
The more distraught I'd get
"Look! Its just what you've asked for!"
The universe ,
so unbiased and eager to please
as overflowing wishing wells brought me
to my knees
I screamed

"PLEASE JUST TAKE IT BACK!!"

Some people you shouldn't have,
And never should you hold them,
Because the thing about those types,
They are the ones that love fast,
The ones that make you fall hard,
The ones you're head over heels about,
But they always slip out in time,
The time before they love you back,
Or even care at all,
It's such a strange design,
You love and hate them,
They consume every inch of your mind,
And you don't even notice,
Cause when you love like that,
Nobody gets out alive.

They stand in a bubble,
And everyone sees through,
But nobody sees in.
Their eyes only on each other,
See nothing.
They whisper,
things to make each other smile,
to make him sigh,
to make her blush.
Fingers teasing,
About each other’s wrists,
Grip each other’s hearts.
Sight; glazes, focuses,
In each others eyes,
Fusing in their minds,
Shivers down their spines.
Butterflies,
Flutter, sometimes flicker,
Often splutter.
Tease each others smile.
Skin; brushing, touching,
Straying, learning,
Each others faces, bodies, minds, lips.
Kiss.

I love sleep
Don't get me wrong
Sleep feeds me
Without it I'm pretty much useless
Batteries always need to be charged eventually, right?

Sometimes I'll snuggle up and close my eyes
See the wonderous things that reside nightly
Behind my eyelids as my brain plays
The projector, eyelids play the screen
And I'll awaken feeling like I've just returned
From a land of fortune and prosperity
Like Columbus after he returns to Italy


But from time to time
It gets really, incredibly difficult
To willingly fall victim to the beautiful Sandman
And I'm left squirming uncomfortably
In the center of wrinkled sheets and blankets

Spinning endlessly between reality and dreams
My mind running a marathon through rough
Terrain and hopping hurdles that keep
Growing taller and wider and more menacing
I'm flashing beacons desperately trying to
Get the attention of the ambassador of slumber

And sometimes  I'll "wake up"
As the Sun peaks it's God-like face
Over the unassuming horizon
Rays of warm light taking refuge where
The moonlight once settled and called its home
And I'm left there, head in hand, eyes nearly
****** and feeling like I've never slept a second
In my life
