An aspiring conqueror,
practices the language of victory
in  daydreams;
in nightmares, sees speaking the shameful tongue of defeat!
Between daydreams and nightmares he/she needs to imagine
a world as well as  tongue that speaks gently  to the fellow beings.

He looks at me with question in his eyes,
His mouth moving but not saying anything,
His ears cocked towards me like a dog,
Listening attentively.

By holding my hand he encourages me,
His smile making a request.
“I’m here for you, to help you out,
so say what comes to your head.”

I begin with my monologue,
and tell him the tales of my heart.
What has me down and worried,
I share with him un-flinchingly.

He holds my hand when it gets difficult,
as if compassion flows through his veins.
His mind is void of any judgement.
Throughout the narration,
all his senses motivate me.
“Come out with it!” they say together.
To my heart it’s a life boat you see!?

Because in this age of all the blabber.
It’s hard to find a good listener.
A listener who wants to know you better,
And help you out genuinely.

As I finish my tale he hugs me tight,
Letting me know he understands.
And in the future if there comes a bumper,
then I can always hold his hand.
[To be a good listener is not easy.
The most important thing is not be selfish,
You should be ready to listen
and want to help the person.
But you can’t just stoically listen,
have a lot of non-verbal communication.
Use all your senses and words at right places,
and the next thing you will see,
is a line outside your door.
With people saying… “Listen to me!”  ]

my love is in this place;
runs through it like
blushed
cheeks,

and the wind carries our laughter.
She know.
She know if you love her.
She aware that you will do anything for her.

These are things that a woman knows.

She know.
She knows if she deserve better.
She knows when you're not showing enough affection.

These are things a woman know.

The best of the private investigators can't track information.
Like a woman can.
They have these skills that can educate a man.

These are things a woman know.

He know.
He know when his lady's mad.
Or comments stated in haste has made her sad.

These are things a man know.

A man might not be aware of many things.
He's aware that there won't be no peace.
Until he made her happy again.
He know this.
As do many men.

Sadness has no friends.
When you hurt your woman.
She know this.

Just ask a good man.

I thought I was not that strong
Thinking I'm a weakling
But I've proved it wrong.

Been belittled for so long
To them, I'm just nothing
I thought I was not that strong.

To this world I don't belong
This is what they're saying
But I've proved it wrong.

My heart pounding like a gong
Scared, seems like shivering
I thought I was not that strong.

Everything I do is wrong
This is what they're thinking
But I've proved it wrong.

They've pulled me down for so long
But I've struggled, fighting
I thought I was not that strong
But I've proved it wrong.
My first Villanelle :))
Red
Her eyes were red,
They showed her pain
It was obvious,
That she was crying again.

Her voice, just a whisper
Insignificant as dust
She's searching for someone
Someone to trust

She smiled and laughed
While her eyes remained empty
Strange that a smile
Can hide things so deadly

Her wrists show no scars
But her soul, tampered and broken
Their words were like weapons
Invisible when spoken

Her eyes were red,
They showed her pain
It was obvious,
That she was crying again...
His pet cat Susan,
quietly on his bed, reclines.
But the moment his thoughts
tenderly touches his woman,
with great alacrity, switches on her sixth sense,
springs to his lap,
as only a cat can,
with a growl of distinct disapproval,
and licks, all over his face
in a salivating show of affection,
then intently looks in to his face,
as if asking without words:
"Is that cat, good enough for you,
as much as me,
in her moments of love?"
