I looked for your face in the crowd.
maybe you would want to share this moment with me
The day ended without a word from you.

The Sun still went down,
the Moon still shone brightly in the night sky.
I still look for you.
I still, more than anything, wanted to hear from you.

I hope I made you proud today.
I graduated but the person I loved wasn't there and it didn't hide the fact that something felt unbalanced.

as is the sea marvelous
from god’s
hands which sent her forth
to sleep upon the world

and the earth withers
the moon crumbles
one by one
stars flutter into dust

but the sea
does not change
and she goes forth out of hands and
she returns into hands

and is with sleep….

love,
    the breaking

of your
        soul
        upon
my lips

i will wade out
till my thighs are steeped in burning flowers
I will take the sun in my mouth
and leap into the ripe air
                                       Alive
                                                 with closed eyes
to dash against darkness
in the sleeping curves of my body
Shall enter fingers of smooth mastery
with chasteness of sea-girls
                                            Will i complete the mystery
                                            of my flesh
I will rise
               After a thousand years
lipping
flowers
And set my teeth in the silver of the moon
