Grabbed it smoothly,
You puckered your lips and
I gently put mine
Onto yours

I remember how you
Tasted in that dream-
Alot like strawberries (I'm not find of strawberries
But they tasted good mixed with you)
And you were so sweet.
so sweet.

I missed that chance though,
I wish it could've happened.

I love the sparkle in your eye
The bridge of your nose
The curve of your palms
The shy stride of your legs
The adorable smile of yours
The way you look at me.

I love your laugh
The way you slyly touch my shoulder
Or give an excuse to touch my hand
The way you whisper to me
The jokes that only we seem to understand
The shy looks you give me out of the corner of your eyes

She couldn't read
Her tales were the greatest
She couldn't write

She didn't go to school
Her teachings made us human
She never traveled
Her journey of life motivated us

She kept the house in superb condition
She never watched Rachel Ray
Her cooking was FIVE STAR
She didn't need a degree
She sent us to university
She stayed at home
She told us to venture and have careers...
She didn't need alarm clock
She was our wake up call
Go to school time, brushing teeth time, prayer time, reading Quran time, breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner, bed time, all the time....
Mom never failed to be with us....
Even today still ...
she is always in the best place in our hearts...
