Sometimes I am more

thorn than flower

*but a rose is a rose is a rose

Ghazal
You are the ending
to my wandering

Ghazal
Vermilion spread across
her forehead, like clouds
over the dusky sky,
Love perspired,
and frantically rained,
Her Earth quietly sighed.

Ghazal
Suspended in his animation,
Between just tangible vapour
And barely there air,
I can touch him and I can't,
Yet I know he's there
Time's painful passing,
longing for your sweet embrace.
You remain absent.

Ghazal
No mistress of metaphor
No star of sonnets
No heroine of haiku
No queen of quatrain,
Merely in touch with the -
Language of longing,
Sanctity of sin,
Din of desolation,
Poetry of pain.

echo
you forget
you are a poet
and accidentally
make sense
10w truths

Time's a kite
Still flying
We hold on

echo
Then we find
the shreds of paper
turns of thought
upon the days
that lay behind us
heavy curtains
opened up
like morning rays
and cut the dust
off threaded dreams
and shake the earth
with dew again
...

echo
The night begs attention
silent, bold
unafraid of stillness
unafraid to hold
the fierceness,
fragility of breath
the finity of death
& behold her blackness,
the darkness,
and in the void to rest
to wait for what is left
and for the sun.
