heart pounds like crashing thunder
at the mere thought of the idea
blood burns hot
and time stretches through space
our eyes meet...again
and steam fills the air
a quick lean without a flinch
and electricity breathes life
into a wink and a nod
and the nerves rise
a smile, and blood rushes to the surface
hands gracefully glide over flesh
chain reactions need no words
a gasp and a sigh
attest unspoken passion
lips meet and sparks fly
as breath is stolen, so is a kiss
then so is one more
dancing tongues and fireworks
synergy and floods
blood drains to fill
and fills to feel
the heat rises
taking with it the knowledge
that tomorrow is when "never" comes

Thank You

Its been one year on Hello
With almost 80,000 views
So many other poets
Have liked a thing or two

From my feelings for my now lost love
To the love felt for my son
You have helped me in so many ways
The healing you have done

I have tried to keep it wholesome
So that all of you can view
At times I've ticked some readers off
And hit a nerve or two

Inspiring  words of wistom
I have tried to give to you
Hoping that the words I write
Will help if just a few

The beginning of new loves
The ending of the fear
Anticipation of a future
My life throughout this year

I thank each of you for reading
My poems made in rhymes
You gave me what I needed most
You became all friends of mine

THANK YOU

Here I go
          Again
Smiling
          *So wide
An involuntary
Pure reaction
To the thought

          Of

You

Surroundings fade

I am fully submerged
          in Images and Dreams
Wholly immersed
          in Conversations and Schemes
Completely entrenched
          in Wondering
                    What this
                              All

                                        Means

I am here
       Smiling
Again
          Right now
In these moments
Reenacting
A lifetime

          With

You

So far gone

Transcended to a parallel reality
I could dwell here
          In my make believe
Make a life here
          For you and me
Stay forever here
          Lost
                    Inside

                              My fantasy

Awakened
          Now

Smiling
          Still
Filled with
Excitement
And Love

          For

You

Dream ***(LOL)

Have you ever really noticed
How dream *** feels so good
Makes you feel so special
Lets you wish you could

You try to fall back to sleep
And hope it starts again
Or lay there and just reminisce
With something in your hand

Dream *** can be special
It can help you through your day
You can dream about those you know
Or those who have no names

Still dream *** can be harmful
If you let a name scream out
Especially if you're married
And that name is not your spouse

Dream *** was my downfall
With my wife last night and me
It turns out I had dream ***
With an ex girlfriend who she'd seen

This dream *** has a funny part
For it wasn't my own dream
My wife just started yelling
And hit me in my sleep

My wife was having dream ***
And it involved my ex and me
I remember cause it hurt so good
When she woke me from my sleep

I asked if dream *** counted
If it was *** just in her dream
She stared at me with those eyes
And I knew I wouldn't sleep

So I took my wife in my arms
To make love so she could see
That it was only dream ***
And she was the one for me

Now what I didnt tell my wife
Was of the dream she made me see
For I now wanted dream ***
With the girl out of her dream

I closed my eyes and started
Then hollored the wrong name
Quickly I then figured out
Dream *** always ends the same

My wife started hitting me
For having dream *** once again
So like most dream *** that happens
I got no happy end

Sometimes

Love sometimes happens
And sometimes you have regrets
Sometimes you want forgiveness
For sometimes what you've said

Sometimes it turns out good for you
But sometimes it turns out bad
Sometimes it may not matter
Then sometimes you wish it had

Sometimes you need to hold it close
Still sometimes you let it go
Sometimes you know the answers
Sometimes you wish to know

Sometimes you see what's missing
It's sometimes what you have
Sometimes afraid to let things grow
You sometimes wish it had

Sometime you may not show it
Sometimes you wish you could
Sometimes no matter what you want
Love sometimes feels so good

Sometimes all you can do is as ask for forgiveness.  Sometimes your sorry.

Its the day after Valentine's
And cupid did not come
I waited at my bedroom door
I had bullets in my gun

I waited until midnight
Until today rolled around
Thinking that with just a chance
I would see and knock him out

I was just going to scare him
For all he put me through
Then ****** seemed a better choice
When I had a drink or two

I thought I saw a bunny
Plus a tiny green elf
But cupid did not raise his head
Afraid to show himself

At one point I saw Santa
There were raindeer on my roof
I heard a turkey chuckle
Giggling Gobblins were afoot

It's the day after Valentine's
And Cupid did not come
He gets maybe one more year
Then Cupids days are done

Heaven, Where all Poets Go

dedicated soully to Kripi Mehra
who unknowingly commissioned this piece
with her love and feeling for those who
dare to fare on just words, only to
sally
forth unafraid and unashamed

~~~~~~~
to the conclusion cut,
not knowing how we know what we know,
       knowing that of this cut,
this one,
as real as anything worth writing about,
not knowing how but demonstrating a modicum of erudition
yet,
clarity this time no stranger,
no remonstrating, endless debating, easy
come, and even easier go,
all poets (and lost-to-early children) go to heaven,
even the bad ones
stop with the teasing give us the reasoning
nah nah nah always in a hurry to get to the
bottom, move on, write yet another,
restless young'uns, girls and fellows,
even you old, small ones, who still can't spell
your own name
or rhyme, those slow mo yokels, national symbols,
the ones that seem never to ever catch their star,
the mothers across all oceans, who need childlike tendering,
Indian girl chiefs, boat captain historians, word magi-bus-riding hallway eavesdroppers, **** British girls, nurses, wonderers and after-life lusters,
burnt baby healers
learn that this self seal-selected profession
is an endless deal, profession rhymes with heaven,
you need to luxuriate in the long journey,
pink patience before you raise you glass
but OK, just this once,
the secret you have may have already read!
pass it along, as it was given to me
by one of us, poet laureate far better than I ever could be
Down in the sounding foam of primal things I
     reach my hands and play with pebbles of destiny.
I have been to hell and back many times.
I know all about heaven, for I have talked with God.
I dabble in the blood and guts of the terrible.
I know the passionate seizure of beauty
And the marvelous rebellion of man at all signs
     reading "Keep Off."
^
that is what poets do daily with each ecrive,
each line of metered musique mystique,
and with stanzas lighter than air,
a piece of you breaks off, floats upward,
and when the day is done,
the struggling striving breaking apart,
be now over,
all poets go to heaven to collect themselves,
their entire pieces of writings, called their collected works,
all the pieces reassembled,
you are at last, at last, at rest, whole, satisfied and undenied,
where poets, brave soldiers of all ages deserve to be,
heaven resting
Kripi Mehra: "A slogan- Always remain a fool
I wish I could write a poem on the title " Let's Convert Hello Poetry Into Heaven"..."
But you did, you did....
^  see http://hellopoetry.com/poem/600071/the-sounding-foam-of-primal-things/ where Mr. Sandburg is credited in full
"So raise your glass if you are wrong
In all the right ways, all my underdogs
We will never be, never be anything but loud
And nitty, gritty, *****, little freaks
Won't you come on and come on and
Raise your glass!
Just come on and come on and
Raise your glass!"
Lyrics by Pink, "Raise Your Glass"
What Matters
It should not matter who they are
Or what it is they do
Treat each person just the same
As you want treated too
It matters not the car they drive
Or the color of their skin
Don't count how many things they have
Or wonder where they live
Never let worth alone
Decide the way they're viewed
Don't judge the cover of their book
Make a chapter just for you
Each new person that you meet
Has a story all their own
Give them just a chance to shine
And watch each person grow
It should not matter who they are
Or what it is they do
Treat each person just the same
As you want treated too
