it's ok
When you think you know your footsteps,
Theres another road you have to follow
Another path, decisions to make, and it's a lot of trouble
I know I was stuck in a horrible place,
Where demons and monsters knew me by name and knew my address by heart
Childish fears, I'd crawl under my sheets to hide from nightmares lingering around
Nothing was worth living for, and Tuesdays were a bitter resort,
It seemed as if blacklights filled my eyes, and I saw the places where others couldn't
The little stains invisible to others
And I wanted to keep to myself.
These are horrible things to feel, when you stare at the wall and think about
"No one would miss me if I took my life."
Turning my flesh inside out, hoping my eyes go behind my head.
Happiness was something I haven't seen in awhile
My favorite moment was when a smile was cut across my face
Looking in the mirror wasn't as hard to do,
But I'm trying to be happy,
not to bring others down as well.
My favors are being returned, and I believe I'll be okay.
Tragedy is still there, but I know I shouldn't worry about it.
Even though I still feel a little weight,
I know it'll be over with soon.
I used to be* Broken puzzle pieces
The computer locked me out
Left me without my sense of mind
The only thing that mattered to me
My words
My story
My poetry.
Two trees they stood far apart
Across the waves of grass.
And although these trees grew apart
The two became friends fast.

Until two men had decided
That there must be a line
And these trees should be divided
Would happen to be fine.

Eventually, arose a wall
And the men were content
The trees could not be seen at all
Pleased with good effort spent.

The years passed by and time went on
The two men aged and died.
But the two trees remained fond
And every fall they cried

Meanwhile the trees grew and grew
Spreading out their branches
When one day there came something new
And what were the chances?

That pollen drifted from the tree
And came to the other
Caressed it in the warm spring breeze
Like an eager lover.

In the summer a tiny sprout
Had grown near to the wall
Each day it grew more stout
But it neglected to grow more tall.

The days and weeks and months passed by
Until the tree grew strong
And all three trees were intertwined
Where all of them belonged.

The great wall crumbled, then it fell
Just as the three trees swayed.
All three let out a joyful yell
As none there were dismayed

But time passes as per always
And winter came at last
The two trees passed into a phase
Where neither tree could last.

But the youngest one did not fall
Instead it grew *****
By far the greatest of them all
But doesn't love have that effect?

And then one day a tree did grow
A place along the way.
So graceful did her branches flow
Always ready to play.

Two trees they stood far apart
Across the waves of grass;
And although these trees grew apart
The two became friends fast.
Standing in a room painted red, staring at a book on a table. There are no windows, there are no doors, a light swings from a rusty cable. Music plays through the walls, voices speak through the floor, a chill runs down my neck, I spun around, tripped, then landed on the floor.

The air was sweet, the sand was warm, the water splashed our feet. Walking on the beach the waves began to form, two became a beautiful three, then time brewed a terrible storm. Then she flinched with gritted teeth and in her eyes a look of scorn. Then she turned her back on me, her halo turned into horns. Then she vanished from the dream leaving the sky broken and torn.

The book slammed shut and the room began to shake, then a cloaked figure stepped out of the shadows, and walked over to where I lay. Then a door appeared on the red wall, and the cloaked figure stepped outside. He was holding a sword in his left hand, and a list of names in his right. The cloaked figure smiled at me then vanished out of sight.

Standing in a room painted red, staring at a book on a table. There are no windows, there are no doors.

I must be dead.
