Send a cable
To the man at the head
Of the long table
Who was ready willing
And able
To launch an unprovoked war
He deserves
His madman label

Send him an
Urgent text
As he decides
What to do next
Under whatever
Pretext
Let him know that
His mission is hexxed

Send a letter
That perhaps might
Explain things better
To his inexplicable
Built-in forgetter
He’s a pariah
And an abettor
As well as an international debtor

Send him
A hand grenade
That could serve
To make him afraid
Because of the mess
That he’s made
Let him know that
A price must be paid

Their child is gay
But who knew
We can’t talk about
LGBTQ
So what are parents
To do?
Tell me truthfully
What would you?

Their child is
Considered queer
And that’s their burden
To bear
Cos they’re not
Allowed to share
Though other people
Stop and stare

Their child
Is suicidal
As we stand by
Being idle
And discussing it
Has been bridled
It’s been outlawed
Cos they’re not entitled

Their child is told
Don’t say gay
Whether or not
They feel that way
Which to them suggests
They’re not okay
See their identity
Gets in the way

A small word
For a big disease
Has me buckled
To my knees
And I feel challenged
If you please
While hoping to get
A reprise

A war is raging
Deep inside
As red and white
Blood cells collide
And my demise
Can’t be denied
Yet I still feel
God’s on my side

Today I hold on
To the hope
While clinging tightly
To God’s rope
That I have strength
Enough to cope
Without being shot
Full of dope

There are treatments
But no cure
Along with the promise
Of so much more
As science continues
To explore
It’s not as hopeless
As before

Ye - what kinds of meds
Are they feeding ya
You harass Kim
All over social media
Change her profile
On Wikipedia
We all know how much
You be needing her

Ye - your way
Of making up I suppose is
To give Kim
A truck full of roses
But all that goes
To show is
That’s how
A true loser closes

Ye - what the hell
Does it take
For you to give
Kim and him a break
From all the noise
That you make
Just stop it
For heaven’s sake

Ye - they say
You should forget it
Your bravado
Is merely cosmetic
In reality
You’re so pathetic
And you’re giving us all
A big headache

One day we went
Through a door
Called No Return
To come back no more
We were headed
For a far off distant shore
To be bought and sold
And what’s more

Those not lost in
The deep blue sea
Were robbed of their language
And identity
Much much worst
Is we were not free
From the chains of *******
And we had no key

You controlled me
By the fear of death
Robbed me of my dignity
‘Til there was nothing left
Separated me from my family
And though you’d never guess
Despite all of this
I still am blessed

You may not have done it
But the fact remains
You benefited anyway
From the whips and chains
That your forebears used
Which perhaps explains
Why you were advanced
By your undue gains

You’ve given it thought
And you’ve decided
To throw in the towel
Though you’ve long denied it
You’re done forever
But at least you tried it
Never say never
If you can’t abide it

Never say never
Cos you never know when
You might wanna
Try it again
Never say never
Though you can pretend
That this is it
And you’ve reached your end

We can’t say for certain
What the future will be
So it’s best to say
Let’s wait and see
In all circumstances
Flexibility is the key
So never say never
Are you listening to me?

Never say never
Ever again
Though it might appear
That you’ve reached your end
‘Long as you’re in the game
Then you have some skin
So never say never
Ever again

He calls her his girlfriend
Did he say something wrong?
See what he feels for her
Is so genuine and strong
And he sincerely believes
It’s with him that she belongs
They have the kind of relationship
That’s written about in songs

She makes him feel good
And he returns the favor
The feelings that they share
Is for both of them to savor
She shows off the ring
That he lovingly gave her
He rubs her down with scented oils
Every time he bathes her

He calls her his girlfriend
By now that’s what she is
Though he has his own place
And doesn’t live where she lives
They’re always together
So their relationship doesn’t fizz
Though her ex is jealous
‘Cos her boyfriend takes care of biz

He calls her his girlfriend
As a term of endearment
And doesn’t find that label
To be an impairment
To how they’re perceived
Cos their public believes
Neither of them have
Anything up their sleeves
