Your wings are the darkest of blue,
Feathers all uneven and disturbed,
Yet they whistle in the wind,
Your eyes are the brightest of silver,
Their sparkle long since vanished,
Yet they search the ground,
You’ve searched for many hours,
But to no avail,
For the land is void of life,
Life has been entirely removed,
You’re alone,
Entirely,
Utterly,
Unbearably,
Alone.

Whosoever shall enter your world when it contains only you?
Your world once possessed life in splendor,
But in one great gust of the wind,
It was gone, just like that,
Gone.
It may well be time to give up,
The fire that is existence has been extinguished,
All except for one minuscule ember at the bottom of the pit,
There is no point to leave one single ember alight,
Oh, Raven in the Moonlight,
You’re alone,
Completely,
Totally,
Excruciatingly,
Alone.
There's a girl out there.
And she's been looking for you.
Yet,
Her only problem is,
She's distracted by all these dudes.

Hot ones
Ugly ones.
Smart and stupid.
There's athletic ones
Gamer ones
And the one who acts like a kid.

She's on the verge of crying.
Her head down, almost sobbing in despair.
She sees the guys ; thinking it's you
and they constantly give her heart little tears.

You'll find her on the street
Cold
Accepting defeat.

So it's your job to guide her.
Show her you're the one shes been looking for.
But remember to make sure she's the one.
Mistake her for none.
Ask her her name.

And she'll tell you "Lost."

I realised why she walked so slow,
She never wanted to get anywhere.
And now I realise why you rush on past,
You never want to end up back where you were.

You fear that upon slowing down
The past would catch up to you,
Panting and hanging his head low,
Saying "It's taken me forever to find you!"
And you'd reply "Forever went too quickly."

If you keep walking in a straight line,
Holding up your head,
Eyes facing forward,
Arms swinging to keep up your pace,
And mind preoccupied by passing cars,
You won't end up back there.

Unless it's all a circle,
An unending loop,
And the faster you stride ahead,
The sooner you'll reach your end.
I sit and comfort myself with lies
It's all going to be fine
It's all over now
But then the monster arises from her slumber and disproves my hope for things to be just 'okay'
She screams at me.
Stupid *****! Lazy! Fat!
As I let the words soak into my skin, I tell myself more and more lies.
It's all over now, darling.
It's going to be just fine.
I looked up and saw you,
You looked like a hero,
Halos of gold shined above your head,
You rebuilt roads that were broke,
You fixed every problem,
You kept together our home,
I wanted to be just like you,
My heart swelled with love for you.
I was your little solider,
I was your little helper,
I was your little friend,
I was your baby girl,
You were my best friend.
It was all to my surprise,
The man I loved with all my heart,
Didn't have love for me at all,
If he loved me, he wouldn't have done what he did,
He loved his drugs and alcohol,
He always got so mean,
Maybe he doesn't remember,
But I'll never be able to forgot what he did to me.
I still live with the broken remains,
The sad memories,
Of the love that I once had,
Now all I feel is the loss, the pain, and the break,
I've become so confused,
I can't live with what you did,
It's just to much.
Every night I fight the feeling of sleep
For when that beast begins to creep
into my body
I alarm myself with a continuous beep
A siren.
A shock.
Caffeine.
Anything to prevent a leap
Inside the abyss of my mind I find
many things askew there is nothing I can construe
My dreams leave me shaking and begging for awakening
each one mars my sanity as I writhe in agony
You see
every night
for almost a year now
I die in my dreams
They are quite vivid deaths some I can even feel.
I've been stabbed and beaten
with knives and tire irons
Shot
dissected
crushed
and impaled by metal beams
I've been skinned alive
set on fire
murdered several times
eaten alive by spiders and beasts. Some of which too horrific to describe
All I can do is fight in vain and be an unwilling audience to my own demise

There is some kind of psychological aspect to this I have yet to understand

I always end these hellish nightmares the same way
screaming at myself to wake up and hopefully I do.
I am haunted by something I do not understand
I know this because I can feel knocking on my soul's foyer
I fear going to sleep.

Six years later, and I'm still here,
tapping on these keys,
sentences of our love story.

And it goes like this:

He was a boy,
And she was a girl,
both with the best of intentions.
He liked her,
And she liked him,
And that was that for a while.
But the girl had another fella,
One that always made her sad,
So to him she said "See ya later."
Now the boy and the girl
they could be together, and it was right,
And they laughed by day, and they kissed at night.
The boy would look into the girl's eyes,
And say, "I love you. You're mine."
So months went by,
But for the boy, his attention span grew short.
He made the girl cry,
He told her he tried, but their love just wasn't for real.
She wondered, what the hell?
Because in love she had fell,
And the boy just said, "I'm sorry."
Now the boy and the girl, were no longer a pair,
They both went their separate ways.
And the girl slit her wrists,
And the boy clenched his fists,
because it was the biggest mistake he made.

And our love story died
A long and slow death.

The boy strung her along,
for far too long.
And more than once,
told her he wanted her back.
And the girl, she believed him,
because she couldn't do anything else,
and the boy, he left her,
again.

And our love story died,
it finally died,
the day you looked into her eyes
and said, "I love you. You're mine."
