As soon as her pen touched the page,
She could feel her ideas bursting at the seams.

So many intentions to sprout from one word,
So many patterns to draw out onto the page.

There was hesitation at first,
But she soon learned that it would all come to.

Infant flakes swirl down towards the ground
Finding their place upon cars
Or the sodden streets below.

The crystallized drops hurry to their new home,
Sticking amongst windows,
Escaping away from the dull, gray sky above.

As soon as they land,
They briskly melt.
