Keyboard Warrior
Andrew Gale Feb 2015
I express myself online because its easier than to your face.
You don't even press the like button, my world collapses.

I hide behind my keyboard, A warrior in plastic.
You don't understand how hard this would be in real life.

I come across in a certain way, that's just the way I type.
If you were here with me, I probably wouldn't even speak.

The flickering LED's comprise my Armour, Hidden behind a shield of light.
You might think I'm somebody else, I'm your keyboard warrior.

You take the words from my mouth,
Physically removed,
Disapproved.

You take the thoughts from my mind,
totally revised,
Cencorised

You control what i say,
What they see,
Explicitly.

No more control of content,
Freedom of speech,
Breached.

Transcend dimensional cognitive thought,
regret and regress from what is commonly taught,
exploration of mind and anatomical seed,
and evolution of soul to surpass the 'need'.

Destruction partners corruption with relative stealth,
shadow manipulation puppeteers power and wealth,
behold manipulated lives un-imagined by the lost,
stalling a futile discovery of an inevitable cost.

What should I call you?
Andrew Gale Feb 2015
The thought of you, Like a bullet to the head, I should call you adrenalin.

Heart racing, Like a Lamborghini, I should call you speed.

Static tickles the hairs on my skin, I buzz, I should call you lightening.

Blue and Red on Black
Andrew Gale Feb 2015
Black, Blue...Black, Blue...Black, Blue*

The Ambulance lights create an aura around you.

Black tinted red as my blood flows over the tarmac.

Stop, you said...I should have listened.
Andrew Gale Feb 2015
Elusive sleep is creeping by,
slipping of into the night,
weighted eyelids standing firm,
bloodshot outlook as dawn returns.

The dreaded birdsong falls upon my ears,
not a bit of sleep before i face my fears,
a day ahead of being weak and unable,
I'd meet friends for lunch but i'd die at the table,

The spaced out limbo is hard to fight,
In your own world while your stood at the lights,
Traffic sound horns and pedestrians moan,
don't walk round half asleep and try using your phone,

The sudden screech predicts the fatal halt,
your eyes seen it happen but your reactions are shot,
lying there broken and bruised a heap on the floor,
the killer looks white out of the driver side door,

A hesitant step and shudder of breath,
the driver cant bear to look down on this mess,
legs bent backwards and folded under his car,
and the pearly white teeth glinting down on the tar,

A sound of a siren and the muttering crowd,
our man lies there broken under a car on the ground,
his blood stains the concrete as he stares without fright,
but laughing inside because he'll ******* sleep tonight,

If?
Andrew Gale Feb 2015
If?
If you look back on your life what do you see,
Does it meet up to what you wanted it to be,
If you look back now what would you change,
What would you redo, not do or re-arrange.

If your childhood you was stood before you here,
Would he recognize his dreams or be nowhere near,
If you could make things different what would you do,
Would you discover new purpose or points of view.

If you altered yourself who would you be,
What about places you go and things that you see,
If you changed your path to better your need,
Would you sacrifice self for money and greed.

If the world changed forever for better and good,
Would you remember how you got to where you now stood,
If everything reverted back  to childhood dreams,
You could make everything just the way it should seem.
A poem questioning my/your.our position in life and how it tallies against where you thought you would be.

One World, New like the Old
Andrew Gale Feb 2015
Obtuse viewpoints, Stubborn stance,
Opinions forced through sword and lance,
Global resource aquired by few,
Position ripe to start anew.

It was an evolutionary error in forming us,
Who would rather destroy than sit and discuss,
Politics veil callous actions,
Malice in control to divide us to factions,

Through fear of nothing we bow and plead,
Bow to maleavolant control and greed,
Voices silenced through censored press,
Undress the rest through turmoil and stress.

Vulnerable and prone under dissaproving tone,
Awaiting decision from somebody grown,
Like children we stand without power or say,
Shoved to the side as if we are in the way.

The world we live in is one of lies,
Of muffled madness and silenced cries,
Of endless worry and pitiless masters,
Forced on a road of inevitable disasters.

To unite we must destroy our borders,
Imaginary lines that seperate and herd us,
Combine our knowlege and minds and hearts,
Share what we know how did at the start.

In our past we have stood united,
One world we stood our senses hightened,
Our magic grew through science and prayer,
Even they were one, like water and air.

Although we are told civilization is new,
We are being lied to as we have been all through,
Because only whilst our power is harnessed,
Can we be controlled by the few and unfairness.

This world is as much ours as theirs,
So take a stand and let you be heard,
We wont bend to oppressive will,
Weather they say its to save or to ****.

Stand together stand as one,
Rise our standard and faces to the sun,
Praise yourself you are your true messiah,
Only like this can we raise ourselves higher

?
Chemical imbalance you say?

Why, because I feel?

Bi-polar disorder you say?

Why, Don't we all have good and bad days?

You want me to see somebody?

Why don't you just give me the drugs and be done with it?

God
Andrew Gale Feb 2015
God
If God is in our hearts,
Then why are they broken,
If God is in our minds,
Then why don't we know him.

If God is in the air,
Then why is it toxic,
If God is the trees,
Then why do we chop them.

If God is our actions,
Then why are they harmful,
If God is in our thoughts,
THEN WHY AREN'T WE IN HIS!
