in the middle of an enormous field

so hopeful that her love would come around

smoking was your favourite habit

but the difference was
you were smoking to die

to feel alive

you kissed me with your cigarette breath
and i'm still trying to filter it out of my head
it's not that i want forget
it's just that i can't help wanting it

again.

on the docks

and i did not desert you
