Emma
Her golden hairs are tangled wires
Headphones in my pocket
Knotted, crows along the lines
Dripping from her locket

The raindrops land upon our tongues
And whip our faces red
In this song the voice has sung
What we could not have said

It flows through time, and everything
It's there and never ends
She dances like an autumn leaf
That floats upon the wind
___________
I'll never be the current me
And can not feel her go
I'll never be who I want to be
The person I'll never know

Has taken all my memories
And set some of them free
Whoever she is I'll never see
But I hope she'll be happy

I love chaotic
Things
Each bit of me
Messier
More unmanageable
Than the rest

Rumi
Are you fleeing from Love because of a single humiliation?
What do you know of Love except the name?
Love has a hundred forms of pride and disdain,
and is gained by a hundred means of persuasion.
Since Love is loyal, it purchases one who is loyal:
it has no interest in a disloyal companion.
The human being resembles a tree; its root is a covenant with God:
that root must be cherished with all one's might.
A weak covenant is a rotten root, without grace or fruit.
Though the boughs and leaves of the date palm are green,
greenness brings no benefit if the root is corrupt.
If a branch is without green leaves, yet has a good root,
a hundred leaves will put forth their hands in the end.

If the
weight of thoughts
could wear away
the resilience
of the broken bough,

I must’ve done
something terribly
wrong
to feel the way
that I do
right now.

Where is home
When the air feels better
Than being held.
All things considered,
This house isn't it.

Maybe I just wasn't
Meant to settle

I wonder if the
Stars can read my
Lips when I pray
To them from my window
