We have
gone through and through the plans of our lives,
plans for me, plans for you,
we have
discussed in great length just what we wanted to do.
We have gone to parties together, little ones, just enough for two.
I've held your hands, hugged your shoulder,
and through out the years, we have gotten just a little bit older.
We have
gone through our arguments,
our fair share of disagreements together,
but we've always stuck through, for worse or for better.
We have
parted ways
just to come back again,
we came full circle, to talk about the way-back when.
When we were young, and foolish,
like we still are today.
Springtime is here, no time to delay.
We have
laughed, yelled, and cried together,
we have enjoyed each and everyday, suffered through each and every whether.
We have
stuck it out. Through and through.
For worse or for better.

But now it's come a time, my dear ol' gal,
where I want you forever, and I won't share with any other pal.
We have
We have indeed.
I long to keep you, just with me,
yes I'm a jealous man, jealous you see.
Because One day, I want to tell my friends, and maybe our children,
that when we first met,
we fell in love,
and now we can say.

We have.
um. Lol?

Don't
Give up.
Because that's never going to help you anyway.
Don't
hold back the tears
because tears aren't of weakness, but of a different calling, a cry for help.
Don't
Ignore
the help, the signs, the mistakes, the lessons. Everything you'll need is there.
Don't
forget
You'll always have friends, willing to lend a hand.
Even if it's a total stranger, from some distant land.
Don't
Worry.
Cause there's plenty more to worry about!
Don't
forget
To smile.

Don't. Can be good sometimes.

Alone
You never have to say
that it was someone's fault,
only your own.
Alone,
you don't have to worry about loved ones in the cross-fire,
you'll take the heat, the blame, the ridicule, the trails,
all alone, no rank...no file.
Alone
you sit, you wonder, you cry
no shoulder to lean on,
no one to ask...why?

Well my friend, look up, don't fear.
It's time you've seen the bluey sky, so clear.
I know that being alone has taken it's toll,
your angry, confused, your bitter heart, blinded your eyes, black as coal.
You'll fight me, push me away, unfamiliar to such
such damning kindness.
You desperately ache for a touch of human skin, telling you
you're alive and human too.
Well, my friend, if you'll let me. That's exactly what I'll do.

I'm not God, I'm not sent by him to be a glowing angel,
I'm just a guy, who sees the world from a different angle.
Believe me, there's lots to go and hang your head down low for,
but believe me too when I say, life, is so worth living, when you open the door.
And look...
You don't have to be alone anymore.

Together
we can be friends, we can go see the world from a far with one look,
or we can just sit at the park, read a few good books

Together
we can find more friends, to join our little party,
or it can be just you and me.

Together
we'll conquer the world, have it dance in our hands,
or we'll spread the word of peace, far into distant lands.

Where ever you go, whatever you do,
while you count your blessings and say your "Amen"
Just know, that you'll never have to be alone. Ever. Again.

Together.

Whose fault is it, that we are like this?
In these, gelatinous bodies that slosh around when we move here or there,
when we bruise so easy, bleed, just about everywhere?
Well, before you jump to conclusions, I'm fine thank you,
but what I mean is that we're rather a tell-tale kind of people, you and I,
if you read a book, you can read a person, just takes a careful eye.

If you want something to blame,
and you look around and blame everything, maybe even yourself,
does it really, ever help?
C'mon, get real, get up, and open your eyes,
wipe the dirt off, and look up, at the big blue sky.
Quite the blame game, it's getting really old,
it's never helped anyone, ever, or some I'm told.
So get up, get up, get back up on to your feet,
it's time to show them, just how tough you can be.
I won't give you a thing, than a helping hand,
with nothing but your trust, is all that I ask for.

Trust. A hard thing to ask for, from one you don't and will probably
never know.
But trust, is a long road. Are you willing to see where it'll go?

So spread not blame, and share not one.
Time to get back into the fight, the battle's just begun.
Go in peace, but prepare for war,
it seems the clouds roll quickly, conflict...upon our door.

A silent battle cry! Indeed a whimper so loud.
Let the deafening silence, engulf the screaming crowd!
Let there be a raging peace through out the world so round,
let the war rage on, without a bullet, without a sound.
Take a look around you, can't you see the terror?
Haven't you seen my friend, that this peaceful war has made an error?

Listen here, and listen well,
listen to what the silence has to tell.
It whispers and shouts,
it whimpers and pouts.
The war rages on, ever silently,
tell me you hear it! Don't let it be!

Find some time, to listen to yourself speak,
and perhaps you'll notice just sort of havoc you actually reek.
Or perhaps you're perfect, and I mistook you for another,
then my sincerest apologies, my sister, my brother.
For I fight for a chance, a chance that others may cry out,
I await the day, where the lame and the mute, may one day shout!

So I say to you all,
be you tiny or tall,
I beg you to listen for that silent Battle Cry,
and do not for the sake of humanity, let that voice die.
For the war wages on, with you in the crossfire,
it's time for you to take up arms, which side be you, the truth or the liar?

Behold, behold! The Trumpet doth sound!
Do you hear it? The silent cry around?

Do you know how it feels
To wake up worried if you'll make it home ok?

Do you know what it's like
To cry yourself to sleep every single night?

Do you know how it feels
To wonder if you're mother is going to abandon you today?

Do you know what it's like
To stress over whether your younger siblings will eat or not?

Do you know how it feels
To go to sleep hoping everything will stay calm?

Do you know what it's like
To call your dad and have him ignore the phone?

Do you know how it feels
To lose your own parents to crystal?

Do you know what it's like
To throw away your own father's needle?

Do you know how it feels
To barely make it through the day?

Do you know what it's like
To come from a shattered home?

Do you know how it feels
To blame everything on yourself?

Do you know what it's like
To be a child like me?

They scamper about, dashing through the shadows
they're in every tree, under each meadow.
They'll never admit, to their shame so large,
about the fear they have, of a power in charge.
So they work through the night, laying waste where they may,
but disappear just as quick, as quick before the break of day.
Mind your footing, and steel your mind,
don't believe the stories, of things that creep behind.

Guard your heart, for the hidden chase after,
be brave now poor soul, do not fear their laughter.
The hidden are strong by the numbers in the shadows,
but have no friends, when the light reveals what was hidden in those.

Take courage, be not afraid, there's much more to be said of the right,
if only you'd wait to see the light.
Stand tall, stand firm, among the ranks, with your friends and family near,
fight the shadows, the hidden, the tempters! Fight for all you hold dear!

The hidden shall melt away.
Away in the glorious sunlight.
And at the start of a brand new day,
may we never forget, the struggle...our fight.
Against.
The Hidden.
