Counted on, but don’t come through
Stuck in just one point of view
Never sure of what to do
To justify the means
Mind is racing, spinning wheels
We’ll never know the pain he feels
The alternative, has less appeal
And doesn’t come with laughter
Only tears and big regrets
Not knowing where to place his bets
He constantly wonders why he let
His loved one get away
on checking I find
my dictionary

which explains.

it means

a place of discussion & debate

which it is indeed.

yet I don’t do that no more

really….

Maddy
Incredibly charming
Tall and sarcastically funny
Incredibly intelligent and pithy
Everybody looks at him and women smile
Women flirt with him
Somehow that shy loner won the golden ring
She isn't pretty in the conventional way
Some said Pretty ugly in fact
When he looks my way there is still something incredibly beautiful
Yet, he saw something others never did see
Yet, he loved me

C@rainbowchaser2022
come to me
in whispers and kisses
consume me
with trembled breaths of love
call for me in urgency
tenderly
growl my name
****** me
utter up to me
all your ardent wishes
envelop me
our love the white hot flame
burn for me
be open love
see how desire frees
ravish me
make my salty sweet
your most delicious
surrender with me
willfully
give over to love
bent on her gentle knees

The Kiss

Blissfully lost in you
the wetness
inside your mouth
matches the
rhythmic rain
falling
for you
in a city doorwell
this kiss is
The Kiss
by which all kisses
must forevermore
be measured
we persist
oblivious
to the 9-5'er passers-by
never have I been
so beautifully kissed
time dissolves
stars align as
our kiss blossoms
evolves
lips locked
in bliss
hearts set free
in this moment
forever I'm yours..

(An older poem written many years ago)
The Ocean has no conscience,
no judgment, joy, or hate

She dances with you to her beat
in stirring waves of fate

With reverence you may enter
all blessings on the day

But just one slip and she reminds
what ancient mariners say…

“Red sky at morning, sailors take warning
red sky at night, sailors delight”

Her message best taken when early to bed
life in the balance, her power to dread

(Rosemont Pennsylvania: June, 2022)
Till life retires me I won’t retire
all cries to uncles stalled
And won’t slow down or buy the farm
till Abraham has called

My will as though a five-year-olds
wild and dancing free
Those trees of life I’ve yet to climb
still calling out to me

The view much clearer though ladder worn
from high atop myself
With passions free and burning hot
each thought more deeply felt

Somewhere a bugle waits for me
an Angel standing by
To blow my name when time abates
—upon whose wings I’ll fly

(Beaupre: June, 2022)
