Aroma

Two skunks met in the grass.
He told her that she was a good looking lass.
And that she smell so sweet.
She told him that his aroma was so neat.
A gray fox came by and said with a wink.
I am sorry to say that you both stink.

Exist

She thought that without him.
She would cease to exist.
She lived for his touch.
And the taste of his kiss.
And to be forever in his arms.
This was her only wish.

I often wonder who would care
If I melted away into the lurking shadows,
Among the dark ghosts from my nightmare.

The world sees her brave face, but inside, there's a scared little girl hiding away.

The belly
 Dec 2019 Nadia
Jenovah
It broke me down into mere morsels
Which will eventually
Be consumed into
The belly of the beast
Which is my beloved
Close-knit “society”
Of friends
Or
Who I thought were friends
Anyways

they will continue
To thirst and hunger
For my selfless
Appreciation and kindness
And in the end when
I am
Only bones
-After they have already picked my
Ribs clean-
They will peer into my
Empty chest;
That is the moment
They will know
I am finally gone

Then the thirst and hunger
Will come again
And they will in turn
Consume each other
