Dumpton to Lousia
Sami SET Aug 2018
Skip Skate,  trot hop,
moving forward rock to rock,

every step unique  and considered,
life newly born carcases of the withered,

shimmering shaking,  liquid meets solid,
altitude zero both beauty and torrid,

shades of green,  hugs white chalk,
the mass of the undulating lapping with baulk,

the foamy bubbles lead the way,
drops of oily bring colour and sway,

like tiny little clouds,  egg whites in ***,
this meeting of the worlds characters,  an ever new plot,

signs of creation,  signs of decay,
I pass through this picture in my personal way,

grounding and purifying its this cleansing i need most
as i wander tentively along this little stretch of coast

Sticky
Sami SET Jul 2018
Sticky Sticky, So **** Sticky,
Us Brits and our Weather
are so **** Picky

Sun Beats Down, Evaporates the Frowns
Then there's the complaints for which wer are so renowned

Too Cold, Too Hot, Please Just Stop...
I was waiting all winter long and now you strop

I much prefer shades to a winters coat
Up round my ****, not up round my throat

Own far more Mini's than I do Scarfs
and it was the Summer Holiday's I had most Laughs

So you can keep your dreams of cosy nights in
As I excite the 'Vit D' and Tan my Skin

All trhose extra layers keeping you wrapped
I prefer the White lines where my Crop-Top Strapped

"I can't Move, Think I'm Melting",
I quickly choose 'Rays' over 'Downpours' or 'Peltings'

Sitting at this screen writing is now getting Tricky
It's Sticky Sticky....Too ****** Sticky... Yeergh!
Don't want to complain
Its just a tad uncomfortable

Sieve
Sami SET Jul 2018
I Try Playing My Music, Extra Loud, To Drown out the thoughts as they start to crowd

Hustle and Bustle, Like some concert up front, My very own Mosh pit, Sense I now hunt

Maybe I could push them, through some form of sieve, Fine powder of answers, solutions to give,

But for now they are still Jumble, A Table top Sale, Some Full of Hope, Some Leave me Pale

Back in the quiet, Contemplate, Think, it’s no wonder so many, end up on drink

So I write to express myself, Poems to Share, It keeps me from sinking, into Despair!

— The End —
