As I sit here with thoughts
running through my head.

Some that are happy and others that are dead.

While my feelings come out,
And I let it be known.

I get sorry my dear,
You reached the friend zone.

A place i have been
so many times before.

Because of my feelings for someone,
I love and adore.

As I sit here staring,
out into the lake

I don't know how much more
disappointment I can take.

They say I'm a friend,
that can never be beat.

For the women I choose everythings on repeat.

I do all I can
and even a bit more.

For those I cherish,
love and adore.

As I sit here and wonder,
I think to myself.

Is it time to give up,
And put my love ulon a shelf.

Should I give up looking,
and just be that special  friend.

No matter how hard I try, that's usually where I end.

As I sit and stare,
into the dark of night.

Did I give it my best,
should I put up a fight.

I sit here and seek guidance,
from anyone above.

With help finding a friendship,
that turns into Love.

Even if I sit here for hours on end,
I'll get the same story you're only a friend.

As I sit here and wonder,
how it can be.

Am I doing something wrong,
or is it just me.

DAY by day,
Week by week

Taking all your  abuse,
Yet turning the other cheek

Continuously Dragging me down,
Lowering my self esteem.

Having No way  out,
Is how you make it seem.

I’m never good enough,
You'll never find someone better.

Building up my courage,
To finally write this letter.

Realizing who I am,
And what I’m really worth.

Meant to be respected,
As I walk upon the earth.

I’m finally standing up,
Finally standing my ground.

I deserve so much better,
Tell me how that sounds.

I finally had enough,
You keep me all depressed.

These feelings hidden inside,
It’s time to lay to rest.

I am a beautiful person,
And I’m worthy of so much more.

So make sure you kiss my ***,
As I’m walking out the door.

I know this won’t be easy,
But it’s what I have to do.

You have to show her you love her.
And show her you’re always there.

You have to keep her happy,
And treat her like a queen.

How can I help not to think.

Is my glass  half empty,
