I both cleanse myself from
Selfishness and resentment
To find peace, contentment
And I cleanse myself from
Jealousy and begrudging
Because no one has a right
To really be the one judging
I cleanse myself completely
Of what matters to me
Misrepresentation of all
Some of my life experiences
Where I happened to fall
I let go of what others think
I can’t control their views of me
So I bathe myself within
My own self-acceptance
And the enlightenment
Full of understanding
Thank you for guiding me
Universe, and your blessings
I know you choose the best path
I trust your timing, love, and craft

"Once upon a time,
I wrote Love Poems about
the girls who made me happy.
Nowadays,
I mostly write Love Poems
about the girls who broke me.
These girls I write,
and have written about were always
the greatest inspirations to my poetry.
The girls that I once
wrote Love Poems about
are the same girls that I now
write Love Poems about consistently.
All this time,
I have been the writer
of an endless twisted irony.
The only difference is
that I stopped writing Fairytales,
and started writing reality.."

i find myself now, only
with less and less
to say.

but more and more
to do and i will
put it off and let it
weigh heavy on whats
left of these shoulders.

i am reclusive
you are elusive
i step away
you slip away

maybe it is best
that you are so fleeting
you pass by
your shadow lingers
for a moment
and in that instant
i feel my chest collapse
Said the sea to the shore “you don’t love me anymore
All the good times seem like long forgotten chores
While sunshine ***** my waters making rain
I’ll visit other shores where I have lain
Make trees and grass and flowers grow again
Make harmony with clouds the sky I lend
Yet your sandy walk I will forever tend
Though you forget it’s time itself I bend”

Said the shore to the sea “you truly take me wrong
We will touch throughout eternity in song
Though moonlight is the mate for which I long
We’ll touch your tides like members of your tong
Make swirling currents beautiful and strong
For time is but the mask where we belong”

Said the sea to the shore “take comfort in my lust
For I turn even iron and steel to rust
Like the oceans of night’s sky I will remain
To touch your soul with yet a new refrain
That we may yet be lovers once again”
