Sweet little sister, with dreams that used to soar,
Always so strong,
3 years younger, yet you stand taller,
The world at your feet,
Your smile used to be bright,
But now you wonder why you’re still here.

Brave little sister, trying so hard every day,
Others can’t see your fight.
The mornings you force yourself up,
Head filled with doubts,
On the surface you seem so steady,
But at night your monsters come.

Beautiful little sister, with all those voices inside
Don’t let them pull you down.
You are not alone.
I see the pain you carry,
Life hasn’t been kind,
But there is still so much worth holding on to.

My dear not-so-little sister,
I know it feels too much sometimes.
Please don’t give up,
Lean onto me,
There’s light beyond the darkness,
We'll carry the weight together.

Time
such a fleeting thing,
slipping through fingers,
gone in a moment.
Or it tickles, slowly,
minutes dragging like hours,
a never-ending wait.

Time
how I wish for it to fly,
or still,
depending on the mood,
the moment,
it’s ever changing,
never the same.

Time
always stubborn.
Today, I willed it to fly,
but instead, it stilled—
made me aware of my rush within.
Because time is wise,
and always its own.
A poem about time. How it's uncontrollable.

I am the ocean,
My heart is a sea,
Wild yet free,
My feelings ebb and flow,
Rising high, sinking low,
Waves crash, then churn,
For sanity I yearn.

I am the ocean,
Forever in motion,
Drifting back and forth,
Unsteady emotion.
A sadness crawls deep down,
It's in that darkness, I drown,

My waves are always moving,
With danger looming,
I am never the same shade,
If only the dark would fade.

But all of this is me—
The chaos, the burn,
The dance, the fall,
I am it all.

A roaring sea,
Clashing waves,
Dark clouds gather,
Golden sunsets blaze.

I am human,
And it's okay to not always be okay.
