Maniacal Escape Aug 2023
Can't use these hands
Fingers aren't my own
Can't say what I mean.

Can't stand this life
This depression is all I own
I love what it's done to me.

Can't remember if it's real
The men that speak down to me
So **** in their long white gowns.

Can't cope with this no more
My world better ******* explode.
At least then I can watch the fireworks.

A Cigarette,
The smokey pillows soften the air
A Beer,
For that snap, crackle, and pop.

Muffled. Sated. Play.
Titivating the field with wine.
Game changing moments,
Clouded in a red haze.

The poison needle hits the turntable and spin's me round again.

Objectifying paranormalising
Scaring the feelings away.

Tell me what the instruments say
Tell me what the probes feel.

Let's go round again.
It will always be there the second time.
Let's make rounds again,
One more time.

Doctor know it all
Look at my face and tell me all,
The things you can say I've never saw
In my head, inside you crawl
Probing thing's I stuck on the wall
Let me know when you've seen it all
Maybe we can sit and draw
Up a way to leave this endless sprawl
I'm tired and need a way out.
Maniacal Escape Aug 2023
Once more into the deep red sea,
Warm and fresh,
Terrifying and deep.

Splatter about
A dog; first time, thrown in.

The blue fights to be free
It grips at the lungs.
Strangling to see...

Drop down the anchor,
A harbour draws near.
A light in the fog
Let it float in.

Curtain drops,
Crowd applauds,
The magician takes a breath.
He looks down at his plain fingertips.
True magic will never be his to perform.
If it was, he would simply disappear.
Forever.

Undo your throat,
Shatter both your knees
Twist out your eyes
And cut off your ears

Snap out your spine
Hang out your heart.
Spread out, blood eagle
And swoop down to the abyss.

Worship the wonder
The dead crimson art.
Behold your new gods.
They were there from the start.
