Maniacal Escape Jan 2021
Here's the hollow.
Our solemn portrait.
Where trees part thier death.
And our pasture seeps through,
Enriched by the bounty.
We ****** in secret.
Sculptures stripped in silence
A gallery, maddened by its entries.
But scratch off the drops.
Grab the mug from the gift scar on the way out.

Lips painted red.
Tuck me in,
Duvet up tight.
Shopping in snow.
Customers knock. Goodnight.
Red maiden, see sunlight again.
Kleenex sunrise.
Cigarette benches.
Snowflakes are crisp to those who taste them.

Praise her holiness fiona.
Her arms bring the rain's blessed kiss.
Toe upon toe the trees force green in her majesty.
People are soaked. Stunned by nuclear shrubbery.
Fiona's fervour is unmatched in the world of miracles. Some would wish she would stop walking.
Cursed non believers who long to be dry and pray for leaves that rot.

Your chains are all I want
Captive, crazy. Hateful scar. Screaming
Agonising chokehold. Squirming. Painless whisper, murderous embrace.

It was Gustav Hunger that brought the storm.
We watched in agony at the cruelty of it.
Children beheaded in the orchards.
Our hands are bloodied now.
Nothing grows in the fields of sorrow.
The expanse is blinding. Gustav says we are to be made into honest and true working folk.
He killed Annie mason yesterday.
I miss my boy.

Did you not see me before?
I hid my eyes so you wouldn't feel.
From tomorrow, higher as the curtain falls. In sequence as we now keel over.
Applause for those who earned it, the Mexican's do not wave. Maybe next time.

Sleep close by me tonight.
Shush your tears.
And hold me.
Startling gaze,
Clawing,
Choke hold.
Silence.
No choice.
Hold me.
Sleep close to me tonight.
