The weekend's here with gentle light,
A time of peace, a heart made bright.
And as the hours softly sway,
I know your joy is on the way.

The morning breeze begins to sing,
A quiet hint of what life brings.
And in that breeze, I feel the sound
Of birthday blessings gathering 'round.

The sky is calm, the day feels sweet,
The world itself feels more complete.
Why? Because the time draws near,
When we’ll all shout and praise and cheer.

Just hours now, and candles shall glow,
With laughter warm and faces to show.
A weekend wrapped in celebration,
In holy joy and admiration.

My mummy, so dear,
Your birthday spirit's almost here..
And I can feel the heavens lean,
To crown you like a birthday queen.

This weekend blooms because of you,
A soul so kind, so strong, so true.
The stars themselves might blink and gleam,
Just to be part of your dream.

I see the joy before it lands,
Like flowers blooming in God’s hands.
A time of thanks, of sweet reflection
And endless love in your direction.

Though clocks still tick and moments wait,
My heart has passed through birthday’s gate.
Already singing, wide awake,
For all the joy your life will make.

The weekend comes just in time,
For a soul anointed, touched, so divine.
And as your birthday draws so close,
Know that you're loved the very most..

The morning breaks with sacred light,
A hush of joy, the skies so bright.
And in this glow, my heart takes flight
Remembering you, and all that’s right.

The dew still clings to waking trees,
Like whispered songs upon the breeze.
Each shining ray, so soft, so new,
Feels like it’s pointing straight to you.

The birds are chirping something sweet,
As if your birthday's song’s complete.
But still I wait it’s almost here!
The day we celebrate you.

Though candles haven’t yet been lit,
The mood, the joy, all start to hit.
I’m in that space where hearts prepare
To shout with love, “We’re glad you’re here!”

The gifts may wait, the cake may chill,
But in my heart, I’m dancing still.
Because I know what’s soon to be
A day that’s all for you.

I picture smiles and cheerful grace,
The way joy shines across your face.
The way God’s light surrounds your name,
And wraps your life in love and flame.

You are a light, so firm, so true,
And birthdays only magnify you.
So as the hours gently pass,
I hold this hope like morning glass.

The sky expands, the joy is near,
Your birthday glow will soon appear.
And till it comes, I hold the tune
In full anticipation, like morning’s bloom.

The day was long, your feet are sore,
You gave your best and even more.
But now the sun begins to sink
It’s time to rest, to breathe, to think.

Let go the weight the hours brought,
The tangled tasks, the racing thought.
And lay your head where peace begins,
Let the calm move deep within.

You are not just what work demands,
You’re beauty shaped by loving hands.
A gentle soul, a fire inside
Both grace and strength in you abide.

If I could, I’d calm the skies,
And hush the noise that fills your eyes.
I’d draw a bath of stars and light,
To wash you in pure rest this night.

So rest your eyes, the world can wait,
Let dreams come soft and healing your date.
I’ll hold you close in heart and prayer,
Your comfort, peace, and love are there.

You’ve done enough, now be at ease,
Like whispered winds through nighttime trees.
For in my heart, you’ll be always best
So take this night, my love, and rest.

Of all the souls that walk this earth,
You shine with kindness, joy, and worth.
Even in weariness, you glow
A light the shadows always know.

Let burdens fall like rain to ground,
And let my love wrap all around.
No need to carry pain alone,
My heart is yours, my arms your home.

Tomorrow waits with gifts anew,
But this night belongs to peace and you.
So drift on dreams both soft and true
And know I’m always proud of you...

I gave you roses you brought me thorns
I sang you songs  you answered with scorn.
I built a castle with my bare hands,
You watched it burn and mocked the sands.

You wore my love like cheap perfume,
Then left me drowning in the fumes.
A viper wrapped in soft disguise,
You kissed me deep and fed me lies.

I worshipped you with open eyes,
Still let you paint my world with cries.
I begged for truth, you served me games,
Left me with scars and cursed my name.

You broke my soul, not with a blade,
But every time your love would fade.
You turned sweet dreams to ash and smoke,
Then laughed each time my heart you broke.

I hate you, oh, yes, I do.
For every lie you dressed as true.
For every night I bled inside,
While you just smiled and brushed aside.

You never earned the love I gave,
Yet still my helping hand I gave.
But here I stand, no longer chained,
A storm survived, a fire tamed.

So here’s to you my bitter muse,
The pain you caused, the time I’ll lose.
I hate the way I once loved blind...
But ****, you shaped this stronger mind.

You were a lesson, fierce and cruel,
A heartbreak dressed to make me fool.
But even poison births the cure
So thanks for what I now endure.

I appreciate the life I learnt from you.

It wasn’t really a night
It was broad daylight,
But something about your gaze
Turned the sun to shade and light to haze.

I wish I could tell you,
How I admire the way your eyes burn through
Every wall I’ve ever built
Soft fire wrapped in lashes, sharp as guilt.

But words can’t hold the truth in me,
Not until you’re right in front of me
Not until silence wraps the air,
And you kneel without fear, without a care.

You won’t understand what poetry means,
Not in verses, nor in written scenes
But in that breathless moment, still and wide,
When hearts no longer need to hide.
