It is cloudy outside
As if the rain
Stopped time
And the droplets marked the slow seconds

There's a calm hush
As if the rain
Has silenced the streets
And the droplets disturb just the leaves

The sun is asleep it seems
But once the rain stops
It will all be back to blue skies
And it will become clear outside
Winter comes in
silent, quickly,
taking off those
weak and sickly,
I hope that
Winter
doesn't pick me.

Putting on my thermals.
I’m willing and able
I’m a little unstable
I stand on both table and chairs
It’s not for attention
Just a slow digression
And I need to go in for repairs
Maybe my medication
Is my consolation
At least I know somebody cares
But it’s my admission of truth
That I can vouch for as proof
To question what nobody dares
used to be a work house you know,
alongside the road. there is no idea
when it changed to a hospital, creating
another fear. now it is empty up for sale.

a long time.

they say the owner cut down trees ilegally,
noticed from the planning office
opposite. he is punished.

one tree lays across the wall,no one
tidies things .

we drive at 30mph as is the law,
strain to see the old architecture,
one eye on the road.

it is empty a long time.
