remember when we were carefree
and nothing used to worry me
the neighbourhood was my kingdom
and the front yard was my palace

we used to play pretend
worlds of magic and fantasy
we made up spells and slayed dragons
but now i’m fighting my mind’s demons

ignorance was b l i s s
when did we become like this?

To God, I give all the glory to
'cause His word only is true
So no matter what I go through
I'm confident He will see me through

I'm walking on the water that
was meant to drown me
I'm cooling off with the fire that
was meant to burn me

I'm living a life of victories
Flipping adversity into testimonies
'cause winning is my heritage
I'm backed by a power that's limitless

Show me the colour
of your heart, eyes and your soul
so I may love you.
