~

awakened river ripples, all that tells
the world above
life beneath the surface teems;
its ever current washes clean thousand
year-old scars,
granite faces polishing;
mossy garden fingers gentle fluttering,
alive in watery breeze;
and rainbows flashing from the deep their
momentary smiles,
their call to join in hide and peek;
riffle's laughter,
rising from her depths calls as if to speak,
i offer peace, come dip your
harried soul in me;
the tranquility you seek, flows not in
current's rushing stream,
but in living here, in still release.

*post script.

a much-needed, hard-earned getaway,
coming in days with a few nights
by the sea...

this perhaps my harried soul’s pre-release.

O summer rain
Why you tap at my window?

Do you want friendship?

You are a boy or girl.
My feelings desire to know.

Next time
Directly get in.

My arms are open.
Dinning table is ready.

The color grey
Was born to unify
With black or white
It does not ally
The place where
Light and shadow dwell
In harmony
The bridge linking
Ebony to Ivory
In grey yin and yang merge
Without release
Grey is the color of love and peace

Dusky woman

From time to time
I sit outside
and watch the night sky
deep in its shadow
and dreaming
of a dusky woman
with black hair
and a sequined dress
riding high on her thighs
until my eyelids
grow dark
from the starlight.

It's  raining.
What  a  lovely  morning
after  all  that  sun.
The  Mallard  ducks  are  out.
I  can  breathe  again..
It  became  too  warm.
