Trust
This treasure is something that makes or breaks everything
People lock theirs away like a prison mate
Some let their flow like the sea
Some treats there's like a new lion to the pack
This treasure is a rope bridge
When taken for granted
Gasoline is poured and lit in flames
Now the ashes become the shadow of what it used to be
Now i make sure my bridges is flammable
Cause people love pouring gasoline
On the statue of liberty between us
This treasure is just a game of roulette
A game show of people wearing costumes
Never knowing who to choose
This treasure is
Sunshine on cloudy days when the oak trees give you love
This treasure is
The statue of liberty betweens two mimes learning how to speak
This is treasure

On the nights when there’s no stars
The moon is hidden in plain sight
The sky is dark as the mask people wear
Dark skies
A blank canvas waiting to be turn into something bright
Dark skies
Is a home to the stars that are trying to find the light from within
Dark skies
Feed into your soul cause we are one with the world
Why does it have to be light when it provides so much light
Dark skies
Isn’t so dark when it tomorrow blue skies
Shine so bright

Look at me what do you see
Do you see a tomboy wannabe
Or do you see a girl who too nice to be
Honestly when you look at me
I don’t care what you see cause you ain't me
See when I look in the mirror
I see a girl who smiles when things are tough.
I see a girl who makes others laugh when she can’t herself.
What do you see now
See you so quick to judge me by
My looks, my walk, my talk
But I’ll be so nice to just push aside
Cause time flies too quickly to waste
See if I tell you my story of what
I’ve been through you probably would be shocked
Of how I’m standing before you
See if it wasn’t easy to get where I am now
I could’ve pulled that trigger
Or used that knife but I choose to
Stand before you so you can
hear this and see me
Not to just see me
But see me
I want you to look hard in my eyes
Tell me what you see.

SAVE ME
For these thoughts are like neverending firecrackers
on the 4th of July
My mind is like going through never ending doors
With different pains hidden in the dark
SAVE ME
No don't save me for you too might catch this
contagious disease
And see that life is not what it seems to be
In this carousel life of mines
SAVE ME
For these words come as a shock as it falls from lips
For you don't see danger when your eyes fall upon me
For my hands play the harp gently and all the right strings
For my feet tread upon the earth as it was feathers
For my smile is always just right
SAVE ME
\for the night has become my best friend
Maybe the tune of the wave will revive
the light lost in me
Igniting a flame that got lost in ancient times
Just please, save me

The girl in the mirror
She stare at me with saddest eyes anyone has ever seen
She has so many cracks to be filled
Her heart is hanging by a thread
So broken and bruised
The girl in the mirror
Is disgusted by what she sees
The flabs, the bulky stomach
She wants to look like the magazine
She wants to have the face of beauty that is too .? real to be
She desires to have girls envy
She desires guys to thirst for her love
The girl in the mirror
Wants to be free
She wants to let her wings fly and never stop
She wants to run and never turn back
The girl in the mirror
She has cuts that run too deep
She has deadly thoughts that are too viscous to see
She became something she tried not to be
She is fighting a battle that will dictate her life
The girl in the mirror
She pulled the trigger waiting for the bullet to impact
She slits her wrist ready for the blood to overflow
She hangs herself waiting for the air to be choked out of her
She waits till she gets the signal to press play
Pow!
The girl in the mirror
Is dead no longer to be seen
For I no longer see her only the wall behind me
She pressed play
Now she doesn’t exist
Now there's just an empty mirror
That stares back at me.

The seed that was ever so small and tough
Nothing could ever break its shell or make it go bust
It’s been planted in soil that was supposed to be fertile
But was never told it was poisoned
It grew and grew
Losing its protective layer along the way
Becoming more fragile every day
Losing a piece of something that was supposed to stay
She's a flower they say
And now it's become fully grown
The color of the beauty of petals so long
The stem sway in the tiniest bit of wind
The fragrance that keeps you coming for more
It's delicate
You can destroy with one soft touch
She's a flower they say
They saw potential and it scared them
They tore off her petals
And now she hides in the shell
Nowhere to be found insight
But she rebuilding herself but they thought she died that night
She broke out her shell with pride and a smile so bright
When they woke up they were startled by the sight
She's a flower that won't back down without a fight
