Forever Entwined
Jo Stone Feb 2019
In peace together you lie,
With a breeze gently brushing by,
I feel your love wrapping me tenderly,
Us three,
What separates us we cannot see,
What brings us together is a love for eternity.

Never the Same
Jo Stone Dec 2018
The walls were white
The lights were bright
She heard a scream
It wasn't in a dream
She was sent away
Made to change her name
Heaven forbid there would be shame
on the family name
Her baby came
They took her away

Truth
Jo Stone Jan 2019
Winding, twirling, entwined in all manner of hope, betrayal, fogginess and slithers of truth.
What is real?
Up and down the stairs I trudge; at times light footed and in an instant a weight appears. How can this keep happening?
Accept it. This is your lot; something good will come to you.
Focus.
There is good in abundance. Treasure it and hold it close. Make the most of opportunities at your feet and be wise with your time. Enjoy those you spend it with.
Above all else, remain the person you are and build on that.
