Lyndee Turner Oct 2017
It’s out of my reach,
Out of my grasp.
Reality, everytime I reach,
A bubble of fantasy closes the gap.

Why can’t I pop it?
No matter how hard I try.
Stuck in my bubble I just sit,
Watching reality as plain as watching the sky.

Wishing I was there,
Being a normal teenager.
Going on dates here and there,
Not stuck in a bubble of fantasy.
Wishing my life away in here.
Wishing I could be normal.

Prom
Lyndee Turner Oct 2017
It started last year,
In the halls of the school.
I fell for you here,
In a classroom so small.

It was my freshman year,
I was new to it all.
You were a junior,
Bound to go somewhere.
Soon you’d be a senior,
And you’ll leave me here.

Now I’m a sophomore,
And you a senior.
I want to do more,
Before you leave forever.

I have one simple question,
You can answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
Forest Tyler, would you go to prom with me,
If you willing to go?
A cheesy way to ask you crush to prom.

The Glue
Lyndee Turner Oct 2017
This is the story of The Glue,
The one who stayed strong.
The boy who climbed,
The boy who tried.
He ended his life with
“Please, Tommy, please.”
