401: From The Madness
From the madness
I saw myself
Deep in darkness
Trying to escape
Out of blackness
Looking for the light

Running from weakness
Only into empty thought
Lost in the bleakness
Which I had made
Hating this deep mess
I find myself in

There is nothing less
But still nothing more
On my knees to confess
All is now long gone
Leaving behind stress
Sanity gone away

341: Free
I saw beauty in the world today

Heaven came to me to stay

I saw colours of every flower

I saw the majestic Oak tower

People greeted me with a smile

They chatted for a while

The sky shone a beautiful blue

The grass beneath my feet felt so true

The world laughed along with me

I am now feeling free

Throwing The Future Away
It's been a long time
The words still rhyme
Sometimes I change
Being a little strange
I have myself to blame
But the World is still the same

There are still wars being fought
Where peace should be taught
Still racism that is never right
All equal be us native Indian, black or white
Still children the victim of pain
Facing abuse time and time again

Still this world is left screaming
We ignore it and just go on dreaming
Once the air was pure and clean
Now polluted from man and machine
New problems we give Earth each day
We are throwing our future away

Shed A Tear For Haiti
It was the day the Earth shook
And opened up like a hungry beast
Swallowing those who became victims
And buried them with a fury

They lost  those they treasured
A father, a mother, a brother, a sister
A daughter, a son, gone forever
Wondering why this happens now

The dead now litter the streets
So many souls are there in torment
And the living are waiting for help
Needing their fellow man at this time

Still more bodies are found in the rubble
Shed a tear for Haiti, the very young and the old
Criminals died with the police that watched them
Thank God that in Heaven they will find peace

44: The End
The people slept, dreaming
Silently the World was screaming
The Universe was reaching out
No one heard the silent shout
Even dark forces could not pretend
That things were coming to an end

And twenty billion souls came awake
As they witnessed the Universe break
They could hear a distant rumble
As suddenly Galaxies would crumble
The end would take all, everywhere
The end was coming for everyone there

Beings gathered together from every World
The end came, they were ready and curled
Holding each other, all were a different kind
Stars ended and there was nothing to find
Poets cried and found the words to write
And the end came with a blinding light

For Rest Eternal
She is the night beauty
With her long black hair
Eyes of emerald green
Desired by any man

This lady of the darkness
She needs to feel their touch
Their desire and their need
To make her come alive

She will feed from them
Taste of the red nectar
But they will feel no pain
They will be lost in their lust

She will never drain them dry
Only take what she must
To satisify the thirst she has
And give them her body in return

She loves to feel them move
As her body responds to them
The heat of a moment of desire
Making her feel like a woman alive

She can only exist within the night
Never able to feel the sun touch her
Her lust is something they can never keep
For into the darkness she will be gone

We Are Strange
Be a little different
From all the rest
Don't explain yourself
You're not in a test

We are strange

They don't like you
Well, that's okay
You're not alone
In being this way

We are strange

Be a poet, be a singer
Be who you want to be
Dress in whatever fashion
Express yourself, be free

We are strange

We are all a little strange
With a darkness inside
You don't have to be afraid
You no longer need to hide

You're just like me
We are strange

Just A Girl
A young girl out late one night
Walking home by the street light
She got snatched by three men
Dragged into an alley, taken again and again

Over and over they abused her
Over and over they used her
They just left her laying there
Left her naked, but they did not care

Now she is a little older
And her heart has grown colder
She is now involved with only thugs
She sells her body for drugs

Anything that you want to do
She will do it all for you
If the money is right, she don't mind
With her body she pays in kind

The news said a girl was found dead
Someone smashed a brick on her head
At her funeral nobody came
She was just a ******* the game

Flutter
Do you remember me?
I was the boy sitting at the back in history
When I tried to talk to you, I would stutter
Because you always made my heart flutter

You were the most popular girl in class
I was ordinary and our styles would clash
You always ignored me as if I wasn't there
It hurt me, knowing you didn't really care

That was so many years ago, now here you are
I'm so sorry to see you've fallen so far
Begging on the street, with nothing in your eyes
Your looks are gone, no one hears your cries

Do you remember me?
I was the boy sitting in the back of history
I'm trying to help you, but I can only stutter
Handing you some money, watching it flutter

455: Help Me
How can I do this alone?
Each time depression hits
Leaving me inside my head
Praying someone understands

Making me feel if I'm trapped
Everywhere seems always closed

Asylum Of The Mind
Took a walk on the other side

The other side of sanity

Found that my problems collide

Taking away my vanity

Love just hits you hard

It comes and knocks you down

Love just drives you mad

In your sorrows you drown

Crazy thoughts and you can't smile

It just drives you all insane

Your mind just falls out of style

There is no way to try to explain

You want to love someone so much

You wonder if they really see you there

Your head just seems out of touch

All you want is a heart you can share

So you sit in the Asylum of your mind

Locked away form the realms of reality

No one knows what you will find

No one knows what you will see

Nobody Liked Him
Never made friends easily
Kept himself to himself
He always shut away his mind
No one knew what he thought

Worked hard, did his hours
Didn't smile, he didn't talk
Ate his lunch, always alone
Went home to an empty house

Nobody liked him
Thought him odd
Nobody needed him
Thought him sad

His past was a tragedy
Lost all those he loved
Came from a war torn country
Where all he cared for died

He travelled to start all anew
A stranger in a foreign land
He kept the horror buried inside
Found it easier to always be alone

Nobody liked him
If only they tried
Nobody needed him
He wished they had

I Never Knew
The battle was won

It was over and done

The victory is you

But I never knew

The tears were wept

Darkness came and crept

It dragged life through

But I never knew

No emotion in your eyes

Always showing hidden lies

It was always all just untrue

But I never knew

All could see the hurt shows

Did you know everybody knows?

It never came and hit me out of the blue

But I never knew

Tell me, was it worth going through?

Because I was the one who never knew

Copper Diamonds
You told me you were precious
Promised you only belonged to me
But if only I knew the future
We were never meant to be

I gave all that I had
But you gave me copper diamonds

I surrendered everything for you
You surrendered it all for others
When I believed my heart was yours
You were stealing too many lovers

I gave you all that I had
But you gave me copper diamonds

Now the years have passed on by
Our lives only faded away
We were two different empty souls
That were never meant to stay

I gave you all that I had
But you gave me...

... Copper diamonds

31: Reign Of Light
I walk the edge of darkness

And fall deep into the pit

I am surrounded by the blackness

All around I feel darklings sit

Who will help me out of this despair

As I sink deeper into this nightmare

In the void of my mind, who is there

Only my shadow, my sadness I share

But she comes and shines so bright

She takes me by my hand as I cry

She has come, my reign of light

Up from this dark place we will fly

I feel her goodbye kiss on my lips

And she falls down against my will

Back into the blackness she slips

As I cry, she is in the darkness still

What's Your Name?
I saw you watching me
Across the broken tables
From a long distant memory
Of a mind made of false cables

So I dared to walk the miles
To stand there beside you
Amongst the million single files
Before destiny came to hide you

What's you name?
I just had to ask

Your beauty was a chasm of purity
Blinded me with inner prism
Your vision was so true to me
Captured me inside soul's prison

So before you decide to walk free
And vanish into the mists of day
I want to you be shy, talk to me
Listen silently to the words I say

What's your name?
I just had to ask

Well, what do you think about that?

Some people no longer want to believe,

In those miracles you're supposed to do.

They no longer want to see them,

So they stopped believing in you.

Now, what do you think about that?

Well, what do think about that?

Some people are no longer praying,

They've given up talking it through.

They no longer think you are there,

And no longer feel like talking to you.

Now, what do you think about that?

Well, what do you think about that?

Rarely does anyone ever go to church,

They no longer think that it is true.

No one thinks that you are out there,

Because no one can ever see you.

Now, what do you think about that?

Well, what do you think about that?

I thought I could rely on you being there,

I thought believing in you was an issue.

But where were you when I needed you the most?

That time when I really need you.

Now, what do you think about that?

Forever Beautiful
She'll live her life her way
But she'll never fade away
Welcoming night not day
The darkness without grey

Now she sleeps with a rose
Where she's gone, nobody knows
Listen and a silent wind blows
Because her beauty, forever grows

She will always be forever beautiful
She will always be forever beautiful
