I admit I really like dreaming—
It’s the only place I can kiss him.
His touch—
I forget he doesn’t exist.

He doesn’t need to know my fate
When he gave my life a role—
He doesn’t need to know my face
When he made my heart whole—
He doesn't need to know my name
When he is half my soul—

I sit here, posting, writing,
Yearning for attention,
Hoping for hearts I might earn
From the avid reader.

I check, and check, and check again—
Yet nothing takes effect.
My heart grows tender,
Dreaming of climbing stature,
But the steep hill looms impossible to capture.

Still, I post, still I write,
Determined to yearn and fight.

While I'm here
Lying in bed
Shivering from the cold of night
And writing with all my might
I hear the noises from outside

Motorcycles roaring
Large groups if people laughing
Random fireworks launching
And planes soaring

They're doing things
Being alive and awake
While I try to sleep
And to calm down
They run around

I wish I would be out there
Running too
But I have to lie here
Cold and anxious
And just hear you

December trudged
after November looking haggard
After carrying another year on its back.
As if that was not enough,
we burden December with our
expectations and hopes
of a miracle.

Someone is lust,
Caring and respecting is value.
