Come to me and stay a while
Let's share a drink or two
Sit back relax enjoy yourself
That's all you need to do

Go ahead and take a nap
I'll wake you in a few
With a meal prepared for you and I
And a table set for two

I want to make you happy
For more than just a day
And show you that I love you
     In every possible way

What I'm really trying to say
Is I want to make you mine
If only for a little while
     Like maybe just a lifetime.

aged bodies
the payment of years
lived
Hearts as big as engines
expanded by love
self giving
They walk side by side
in- step in-tune
that old couple know more of loving
than any youngsters alive
We found mutual love
while rolling around in grass
wearing daisy bracelets
imagination took us;
American Cowboys and Indians
this was our first awakening;
we always took the side of the Indians
from a small beginning
I loved your big heart
Clocks turn and
Stars burn but
Out in space
Shouts are silent.

Man is violent.
**** and face
My demons
Rage is blazing.

Shake the cage.
Steal your age,
**** it and
Take if you must.

Just survive.
Alone rocks
Mountain tops
Are dust to Us.

Your Lord's speak.
Death and dark
Surround us,
No one escapes.

A kiss just a kiss until you
   Find the one you love,
A hug is just a hug until
you find the one you're
   always thinking of.

A dream is just a dream
   Until it comes true,

Love was just a word until
   they day I met you.
She felt like fire,
leaving scorch marks across
the inside of my chest

It burned everything I was
and I was left like residue
from a catalyst used wrong

I felt like ice
running from her flames
melting under her smoldering skin
I felt fluid and chill
but I was burning up too fast and

I feel like air.
Quiet.
