With bountiful botanical seedlings
surrounded by vital emeralds of evergreen.

Hark! Twas the season's change!

In the midst of the morning might
I notice the humble sage.

Within the rains.

Daybreak seemed
more dreamy
than the last.

A soft coo
echoed
in the crisp
pooling illusion.

How I reveled in the brisk elation.
How I longed to be in the mist.

Hands were tingling from the heat of a cup.

The door was ajar.
The plans were on the table.

Dreary, the months past December...
...now so easily forgotten.
For years I have searched for you
The other half of my soul
Wandering in and out of lives
Trying my best to be whole
Nothing ever felt quite right
Before long the pieces would fail
Take me back to being alone
Back to my own living hell
I fought my way back to myself
And vowed to always be alone
Protecting my heart from being hurt
Yet always feeling undone
I ran across you quite by fate
I remembered your heart from ago
Back to a time before we we were born
When we were of one soul
The very moment you held me close
I knew I had found my way home
Back to the arms of my other half
Back to the place I belong

The days are beginning to fade to night
Time is running thin
She scrambles trying to save her soul
To rid the sin within.
Tidy up the broken glass
And shards of broken dreams
Gathered together in a box
Now busting at the seams
Smiles no longer cross her face
To beauty she is blind
Barely making day to day
Already lost her mind
The world was cruel to her soul
Mind and body crushed and used
Turned off her humanity
No longer amused
Praying daily for the pain to end
For precious sleep to come
A single blade run across her vein
Will to her life succumb

If you know someone who suffers from depression, please check on them regularly.  Suicide seems like a logical option when you are in this darkness.  Help save their lives.
Everlasting  joys are flowing like a river,
More abundant life, the Comforter has come.
Glory! Hallelujah! He abides for ever,
Spread it far and wide, the Comforter has come.

Comforter divine, blessed Holy Ghost,
Promise of the Father, fill this waiting host;
Overcoming sin, purity within,
Joy to overflowing - this is Pentecost.

Saints of old they tarried in the upper chamber,
Thirsting for the Spirit all with one accord;
Tongues of fire descended , we shall ever remember;
Power of Pentecost that brought the glory down.

So to-day we're waiting , for the gift from heaven,
Send the latter rain, Oh! fill us now we pray,
Purifying Fire now purge us from all leaven,
Comforter divine , descend on us to-day.

When the Holy Ghost makes His abode within us,
All desires for worldly pleasures fade away;
Fleshy lust and anger crucified within us,
Power to overcome,He gives us from that day.
something about this is quiet.
it feels as though
I’m in the eye of the hurricane.
everything is swirling around me,
and I can see it all
but it’s so much quieter than it should be.
it’s unsettling.
sometimes people look at you and you can feel it.
you can feel millions of thoughts,
and they’re racing past you
way too quickly for you to keep up with.
I don’t try to keep up anymore.
I’m in the eye of a hurricane
of thoughts and feelings
and I’m taking my time taking in the view.
as long as I can see you, I’m okay.
I’ll be fine, I just need to be able to see you.
something about your steadiness,
something about your consistency.
you are what I look forward to.
"My David don't you worry
This cold world is not for you
So rest your head upon me
I have strength to carry you"
- Lazarus by Porcupine Tree*

When the ways of the world
just seem too much.
When everything just doesn't click together
like they should.
Puzzle pieces that incessantly mock
when they don't fit.
When the tears don't soothe like they
promised they would.

When you're up to your neck,
almost fully submerged.
When the fatigue you feel comes from constantly
treading water.
And desperately you try to
keep yourself afloat.
But relentless storms fail not to threaten,
and rip you asunder.

Remember that we're only here on
borrowed time.
And that the everyday's sun will set
after its daily reign of tyranny.
What good are these arms
if they stayed folded shut.
They only invite you fall deep into me.
Now embosomed, I'll carry you to safety.
Moving hand upon the wheel.
Moving traffic.
Moving people walking.
Moving branches full of pink blossoms.
In the wind.
Moving.
Movement.
All of life is movement.
Time never stands still.
We are racing on towards eternity.
Nothing ever stays the same.
Seasons changing.
Life's seasons changing.
People changing.
Time is like a river flowing.
Movement.
Racing towards eternity.
How much time do I have left to run my race?
How long is my role upon life's stage?
Moving.
Ever changing.
With each day comes change.
And hope.
Hope for change.
Movement.
And then...
God.
Who never changes.
Immovable in His love.
While all around me...
life is moving.
