After you run away
leaving me,
alone in a haze.
Its like fire in my veins
A burning desire.
And everytime I reach for you
It's like grabbing smoke
I wish I could be done with you

Then maybe then
When the numbness sets in

then can I  finally breath

I drown my sorrows
With a bottle of
alcohol and pills

Look at them
noticing me,
I think they finally see
through the dark of me,
the demon inside.
I was beginning to
believe I was living.
