Don’t Fall
Albus Apr 2017
I was always quick to fall in love

With ****** knees, I would move on to the next, to the next, to the next

“This too shall pass” they told me as a crimson flood left me hollow

Wounds heal, scars fade, and the memories are long gone

But the spirits of those naked nights

Echo in the empty rooms of my mind

I was always quick to overreact

“This too shall pass” I told myself as the water filled my lungs

The burning sensation of the lifegiving salty substance

Almost too pure to exist in a world blemished by ugliness

But still the echoes stayed

I was always quick to fall in love

But for once, I didn’t get up

In Her Eyes I Saw Wonder
Albus Apr 2017
A quick gasp drew from her lips;

Pulsating slowly in my hips;

Her tongue slips out the edge of her mouth;

The numbness fades;

She clacks her teeth;

Clouds drift across the moonlit sky;

Seeking my attention;

A car drives by;

Pulls me closer to her;

Stars shine through the window;

Soft lips against my skin;

Ringing in my ears;

Her fingertips, digging into my back;

I look up;

In her eyes I saw wonder

Lovely Colours
Albus Apr 2017
Pink was the colour of the clouds, when she stepped into your life

Red was the colour of her lips, the first time she kissed you

Yellow was the colour of the summer dress she wore, the first time you said those three words

Green was the colour of your skin, when you saw her laughing with him

Blue was the colour of your soul, when she said it could not work out

Black is the colour of the hole, she left

Seasons Embrace
Albus May 2017
These Spring nights are burning passion
Both by nature, and by your touch
We lie above the covers, fooling around
Fueled by the flame of our embrace

These Summer nights are heating up
As we sleep by each other's side
Without feeling one another
Unbearable to be and not to be in your arms

These Autumn nights are calming
As we lie in the end of my bed
Looking through my window
Up at the sky, and the rain

These Winter nights are dark
But your light will lead the way
Through corridors of dreams
Till we once again see dawn

Just You
Albus Apr 2017
Just you

It’s just you who keeps me awake at night

Kisses my neck, and tells me to sleep tight

Scares away the monsters from my head

Just you

It’s just you who tells me it will be all right

Keeps all the bad memories out of sight

Awakens feelings, which were dead

Just you

It’s just you who makes sure that I’m fit for fight

Wakes me from the dreams, where I fall from a great height

But I was scared, so I fled

Although this is just poetry

A silly fantasy

I’ll wait till dawn

For who?

Just you

you silence the thundering drums
the constant noise
sensations of what could be
the voices stop talking
when my eyes wander over your body
epiphanies don’t come often
but when they do

my fingers tingle
i can’t help it
longing for the touch of something
something real
someone real
are you really real
or should i pinch my arm

when this is all over
and the curtains fall
i hope i’ll stand next to you
receive applause
bow for the audience
bid adieu
and leave, with you by my side

As soon as the words passed my lips, I tried to pull them back with regret

Those beautiful, unforgiving eyes, staring into the windows of my soul

They will be my demise, I already know, right now it’s just for show

But what can a fool do, when a fool has fallen in love?

Hope for the best, take the step, fall over, try again?

Listen to the words of his loved ones?

“It wont work out, it never does”

“Forget her and move on”

“Do you love her?”

Do I love her?

May be

Just
