Shattered in my mind engraved for all of time
These glass memories of mine of a time where I could stand by your side
So rewind, turn back the time to a time before you took this stupid foolish heart of mine.
All the way back to that day in December when we were happy, when we didn't know better. Can't we go back to December
But I can't rewind, or turn back time. I'm stuck in the present with these oh so fragile glass memories of mine.
I can't return the time.
This is just a vent for me, these are actually song lyrics I wrote, but I do think that songs are form of poetry too. So I hope that I conveyed the right emotions.
