One day I'll be gone
Only a fading memory to a few
Curling old pictures etching out the past
One day

Some will remember a smile
A funny walk
Hairy ears and brows in curlers
One day

You'll pick up the phone
Call me
Remember I'm no longer here
One day

So let's make the most
Do the hugs
Eat the cake cos
One day

Step 1: Smile.
Step 2: Forget why.
Step 3: Keep your voice steady
when your soul is not.
Step 4: Pretend it’s fine.
(Everyone else is.)

Step 5: Fold your feelings
into paper birds.
Set them loose.
Watch them burn mid-air.
Clap softly.
Repeat.

There is no final step.
You just keep going
until you don’t know
what breaking feels like anymore.

Feeling rejected
Too stunned to even cry
My mouth parched and dry
Things that once were meaningful,
now matter not.
They are only clouds that hide the sun
A storm of doubt where once there was none.
I've experienced it second hand.
Looking on as some poor soul was it's victim.
Feeling some of their pain but it's nothing like first hand.
I fear tomorrow's anger.

A song

CantSeeMe
touching it is
hearing the song
still standing strong
but this is a trap
cause rap you love
don't blame above

the singer sings
an angel, no wings
brave she is
a crowd doesn't sit

she continues on
singing with her voice
hearing that note
frozen like a bot
quiet I got

eyes from side
to side
that's when I know
panicking slow
I no longer frown

stop it
no tears
I have no fear

weak I am
please
don’t see me ma’am

rubbing my eyes...
nothing happened
right?
I am strong
won’t lose for long
So I heard the song 'Ice Cream Man' by Raye, and music always touches me, just like everything does....

But I can’t show it, cause you think I'm strong, right?
Breathing through my eyes
Hearing through my skin
Feeling through my ears
You open my senses
And you ain’t even here
I’d probably be able to taste the air
If you were near

Starfish, starfish
in the sea,
can you see
the things I see?

Little waves may
come and go,
but happier days
I'll never know.

Look, look—
a feathered friend
bends its neck
and lifts its head,

flies away
across the sea—
it sees much more
than I see.

These days I feel like a broken Rubik's cube — all twists, unending chaos.

Usually we’re the ones lost.
To get back on track we must:
Admit that we are.

We’re an exploded star.
Turning into stardust
People are so far—
100 million years light.
They still see us shine.
Not even we see our fight.

It takes courage
to admit the fall
For people used
to resist it all.

You’re not weak for falling,
You’re weak for not recognizing you’ve fallen.

Oh star, you’re growing dim.
But little is that a sin.
Lost the battle, not the war.
Rest today, and then you’ll soar.

You were never just a person
Never just a face in the crowd
Every hug meant something more
Every kiss on the cheek I wish reached my lips
But it never did

The last Poet
Mirror mirror
On the wall
Will they love me
After all?

Mirror mirror
On the wall
Will I ever love me
Once and for all.
