I was dead before I jumped,
I was dead before I woke.
I was dead out the door
To enjoy my last smoke.

There I stood on top the building,
Staring at the sky.
Took in a deep breath,
And closed my eyes.

I jumped off the ledge,
I ran from my past.
I was soon to be dead,
On a bed of broken glass.

People crowed in shock
but no one really cared.
People were watching me,
But it was like no one was really there.
